This is a must have book and a darn good read for anyone considering coaching, it goes above and beyond in outlining how to support and
more importantly measure the benefits coaching actually brings.
Strongly recommended.

4.0 out of 5 stars Takes The Mystique out of Coaching, 6 Oct 2011
A wonderful book that is readable and easy to understand. It takes the mystique out of coaching and will allow organisations to create a culture of high performance and respect whilst using the skills they already have in the organisation. A key phrase from the book refers to the fact 'that once it's part of a skills repertoire, a manager may drop into a coaching style as readily as they know how to answer the telephone." This can only add value to an organisation and should help to avoid so many of the misunderstandings that can lead to wasted time through the formal grievance procedures. The book follows a logical pattern of describing what coaching is, understanding why it may be useful, how to implement a coaching framework, sustaining and developing the initiative as well as how to audit its impact. Just as importantly, it reviews how to make the continuing case for coaching, (as it is often under threat from competing initiatives) as well as learning from the experience and taking on board any findings from the review. I would strongly recommend this to any organisation, even in the current climate of scarce resources, as it will add real value for a minimal outlay.

5.0 out of 5 stars Managing Coaching at Work, 23 Sep 2011
Another great practical read filled with strategies for embedding coaching in an organisation. This book is the must have guide for anyone implementing a coaching programme. J Keddy has brought her wealth of experience to the book and made it real and not just a theory textbook. This book could save organisations money before starting out and is also good for those who have already set up a coaching programme to analyse the return on investment Well done Jaqui and Clive for another must have read
