This book is what you get when you put knitting awesomeness and London in a room together and leave them to it. Love my copy, have my very own Cooey in my bookcase, next to my mini me knit with one of the lovely Lauren's other patterns. Buy it, you won't regret it. Even non-knitters think it's awesome!

Love, love, love this little book. I can't wait to make a book and mug cover, and will definitely be making a skull. What an original and awesome book. A perfect tree present for Christmas.

I love all thing small to knit as you see the result quicker. It is also an excellent way to use up odd balls of wool and experiment with new ones.

I was lucky enough to win this in a Let’s Knit giveaway for World Book Day. There are some great patterns, including Big Ben, telephone boxes, corgis, and my personal favourite - the queen. It even comes with a free kit to make a penguin, and all instructions are very clear and easy to follow. A little experience may be needed though, as the sewing up of little toys is always what makes or breaks them, but a great gift for a patriotic knitter!

This book has some really neat little designs for keen knitters. It would make a really nice easily delivered gift for a homesick expat or a visitor to London as a leaving present.
There is a kit to make a London pigeon in the back of the book complete with wool, bead eyes, and pipecleaner legs.
There are others in the series and I think they make great gifts/souvenirs for the right sort of person

I bought this book and had read all the other reviews and really wanted to try my hand at knitting some of the projects which looked really good. I've knitted Jean Greenhowe's patterns without any problems but when I tried to knit the pidgeon I have to say I didn't know what I was doing! I thought that it was really complicated and had to keep on looking up the made up knitting words! Maybe it was just me but I didn't understand it at all. I'll try again another day but it did leave me a bit defeated. Having said that I did like the book and will try another pattern one day.

Stich london was a good book for knitters liking quirky items...not as expected for me ..so I sent it to an american pen pal who is very pro london and who would like it for the book alone.
