I have loved Rupert Brook's poems (esp The Great Lover) ever since I was introduced to them in my teens by very wise adult friend. They seem to have a wistfulness to them which captures much of the English character, and a nostalgia for things "english" which are long since past. They can evoke a mood of calm and gratitude for all that is non-material and yet precious in life.

I really enjoyed reading this book. I found the parts at the end relating to America and Canada (not poems but observations) an eye opener. How someone like Brooke perceived these country's at that time was amazing.

Pity he died so young, he was a very good poet.

this is one to go for. I did not have a lot of his work, as I have always preferred the Metaphysical poets. Very different for me.
