I love the look of these and most of the heat spreaders on other models are unnecessary especially for those not into hard core gaming. These ones look pretty slick and more sophisticated in my opinion (better than the photo shows).
I actually had a problem with the first set I ordered and just one of the modules of RAM had millions of errors causing my new build to be erratic. I discovered this with the help of Memtest. It was the first time I had had a bad module myself, so didn't connect the dots straight away. The bad memory module caused numerous bad installs. So I had to reinstall Windows 7 completely.
Amazon exchanged my set for a new pack and they have run beautifully!! Something I found curious, at the initial point of installation with the first set of modules (with the bad one), the Windows Index reported 7.9 on my SSD, RAM and processor. With the new set, the Windows Index still has 7.9 for my SSD but the processor and RAM are now around 7.6 (which is curious), but of course only a personal niggle and maybe not connected.
I would highly recommend this set (as any version or brand can produce a bad module at one point, it's quite common). My experience in exchanging them was clean and easy. In the end, these look great and work efficiently which is everything you want! Don't be turned off, they are brilliant.

What can I say other than it does what it says on the tin. 4gb per stick. 2x sticks. Good price and well packed. Slots in pure and simple. Worth spending that extra few £ for a quality Corsair product.

Corsair never fail to disappoint when it comes to RAM, whether it's their XMS 8 or Vengeance products, they're always of high quality.
RAM is essential to any machine. The more the merrier as the saying goes so why not kit it out with some high performance DDR3's from Corsair. These will run at 1600Mhz if your motherboard will allow it.
It's worth checking when placed onto the board as many motherboards will set the base clock to default 1333Mhz, thus not getting the best performance out of your RAM. Simply go into the BIOS and change the clock rate to 1600Mhz instead if you really need to.
I'm currently running 4x 4GB sticks of XMS 8 on a Gaming Machine without a stutter at 16GB total. Fantastic product and highly recommended.

Just thought i would give a heads up here. I previously had 2x4GB Of corsair XMS3 which is the 2A version (CMX8GX3M2A1600C9) so i bought these to partner it.
This is the 2B version. I imagine it to be a newer revision since the 2A is 1600Mhz rated at 1.65v and the 2B is 1600Mhz rated at 1.5v. So these sticks now need less voltage than the previous versions.
I currently have all four sticks at 1600Mhz at 1.5v. So i imagine Most sticks of 2A or 2B are stable at 1.5v. But on the plus side, these can easily be boosted to 1.65v without much negotiation, so it does give a fair amount of head room for potential overclocks.
I am very pleased with them, They are rather low profile, so they will fit under any big big heatsinks. (I have an Alpenfohn K2.) And as much as it shouldn't matter, they also look quite good, and fit in quite nicely with my build. So that's always a positive as well.

These are great memory units as they are fast, store plenty and are low profile. They never heat up and look great in any build. The value for money is great and everything works fine. The speed is above average and will never be a limiting factor of your build. They are low profile so they won't get in the way of a CPU cooler or any other components of your build. The value is great as I have seen similar units for much more despite not doing any more than these.
Easy to install and use
Great value for money
Can't think of any.
In conclusion I would suggest these to all as they look and work great and I have had no problems with them.

Well worth it. They come well packaged, look good and at an affordable price. I bought mine a while back when the price was lower but for £60 where they are now it a good buy.
2 sticks at 4Gb each. You have enough ram to power any machine. 1600Mhz is a good speed to, plus if you know what to do then you can overclock them. They don't have big heat spreaders that make them hard to put in. Installation was simple. Just push fit. They don't seem to get too hot on load so that's good too.
Basically they are a good buy and will last well into the future.

The performance difference between this and the Veangence memory is negligible and this is cheaper and lower profile, so no issues fitting my Coolermaster 212 EVO.
