Excellent quality product. Hard to find. I use mainly IEC connections in my dj lighting set up, but one or two bits of my equipment have a normal 3 pin domestic plug on so this is perfect for them. Already used it and no problems at all. Very good quality product and quited rugged so it should stand up to being used quite a lot. The delivery from drg was very quick too. Ordered monday, here wednesday. 5 stars all round.

This product is perfect for attaching a hub, wireless hub or any other device with it's power supply built into the 13amp UK plug, to a UPS fitted with IEC connectors.

I have to work in data rooms on a regular basis and, as you may know, the usual 13amp sockets are not normally used in this environment.

This allows me to plug my laptop into the power strip inside the cabinets and work normally. The lead is very short, so this means it doesn't take up too much space in my laptop bag.

It appears to be well made and I believe it will last me a good few years.

Recommended.

No complaints.

Purchased 4 to install on a UPS and the IEC end fits snugly into the unit giving a lot of confidence

This is a fully rubberised socket on a very short cable to an IEC plug.

What's it for? Essentially, if you want an Uninterruptible Power Supply for your computer, hard drives or other always-on equipment, you either need to buy one with IEC sockets or one with UK mains sockets. The mains sockets type are more bulky, and tend to be available only in smaller capacities. Typically only half of the sockets are UPS, and the other half are merely surge protected. The larger and more powerful type are usually IEC only. However, if you want to connect non-IEC equipment, such as Time Capsule or an external hard drive, you'll find these have figure-eight cables, not IECs. You can make your own IEC to figure-eight cables, but it's more convenient and reliable to buy these. They are rugged and do the job, and, of course, allow you to plug anything in, not just figure-eight equipment.

Got a couple of these to allow me to use "wall wart" PSU's with my UPS. Not much you can say about them- they are simple, effective and don't have metres of unnecessary cable.

I use this to extend lead for some light effects for my disco that have a flimsy lead attached to a 13 amp type transformer. This allows me to extend the lead by adding a iec mains lead and run it to my lighting switch box to switch different effects on and off.
Works great.

Perfect. My internet router and IP telephone are now connected to an UPS along with my NAS, monitor and computer. In the event of of one of our frequent short power cuts, I can now keep on working.

Just need to tidy up the installation and everything will be fine.

This is a hard to find product,
good price and good quality too,

perfect for my UPC unit,
this short lead plug saves me lots of space,

and it still works perfectly,
I give it a 5 star for the price and quality
