5.0 out of 5 stars Essential Viewing!
I'd consider myself a casual WWE fan ever since the attitude era ended but I still collect the odd WWE if it seems good and I have to say this DVD is just brilliant.
The first DVD is a countdown of the top 50 most shocking moments in WWE and cover all ages of WWE history from the classic 80s, to the cartoon and attitude era right up until the PG era.

2.0 out of 5 stars not shocking enough
This dvd interested me on paper but it was always going to be hard to get the top 50 to everyones liking, as a wwe fan for most of my life one of the most shocking moments was when the big bossman was hanged after the match with the taker at mania 15, i think it was 15, from the hell in a cell. This dvd interested me on paper but it was always going to be hard to get the top 50 to everyones liking, as a wwe fan for most of my life one of the most shocking moments was when the big bossman was hanged after the match with the taker at mania 15, i think it was 15, from the hell in a cell. It was vile, cold, evil and the image has seared itself into my soul. There are plenty of other moments that didnt make this dvd when it should have but thats just me.
The top 50 does contain filler, no point lying, it does, one use of hogan, lots of stonecold and not always the best moments and hardly any rock, the chair shots to mankind at rumble 99 doesnt appear when maybe it should have.
The top 50 moments bring back memories and thats a great thing in itself, the main feature lasts 2 hours so thats an average of 4 mins per segment but it doesnt break down that way in reality.
The bonus stuff isnt bad, i pretty much have all the matches but its nice to have them again under this umbrella but there arent alot of them.
It isnt essential but i got this very cheap so worth it on that basis.

I'll not ruin the list but it is fantastic viewing with clips of each incident and interviews from the likes of JR, Jerry Lawler, Booker T, John Cena and a brutally honest CM Punk.
I had one issue with this list, I hope you like the opening music of this DVD, as your going to hear it a further 50 times throughout the course of it, as it plays at the start of each clip.
This DVD runs for 2 hours.

Disc 2 covers promos and matches in full from the Top 50 countdown:

This DVD was an excellent Christmas present. The first DVD contained the top 50 moments and the other two basically showed longer footage of the most popular moments for example DVD 3 contained extreme matches were you seen a clip from on Disc 1. The DVD was to a very good quality and as described, VERY happy!

I bought this dvd for my son who is a WWE wrestling fan.
Little did know this would be one of his favourites. It was well worth the money.
The dvd is entertaining to watch, and has a longer time limit to watch than the usual
run of the mill dvds which can be just under a hour....
The price was brilliant as I was not expecting much for the money I paid but I was proved wrong.
Well done too, to amazon, as it came within 2 days of purchase, and was in perfect condition
on arrival.....

4.0 out of 5 stars A Worthy Release but Not by Far - Blu-ray Better Buy!!, 17 April 2012
By
Saf "Safx" (peterborough, england) - See all my reviews
So far Know one has done a review of this Blu-ray Title,
OMG! The Top 50 Incidents in WWE History Blu-ray (2 Discs)
So I thought i be the first one, this Blu-ray has got a lot of stick and some people considered it to be the worst release in 2011 but its not that bad to be honest its not ideal and was uncessacry but its their for the casual viewer,
The Countdown which countdowns the 50 Top OMG Moments is fun to watch, Lot of Attitude Era Moments Great to watch, the list is debatable and the talking heads who give their opinions on the moments from the current WWE Wrestlers(Not Sports Entertainers like Vince's wants to call them) from the likes of CM Punk who is actually pretty funny and Alex Riley etc are good as they grew up watching these moments and its fun to hear their opinions.
These are the Top 5 moments and i will leave you to work out Number 1:

# 5 - Sable Handprints - 26th July, 1998
# 4 - Snuka Off the Steel Cage - 17th October, 1983
# 3 - Pillman's Got a Gun - 4th November, 1996
# 2 - Beer Bath - 22nd March, 1999
# 1 - - 28th June, 1998

Number 1 was the ideal choice as its a historic moment and will be forever in WWE History!!

Im Sure you will know all the Moments and Matches!!

The Moments that are included in the countdown are shown in full with the matches My personal Favorite match is the Hell in a Cell Match Mankind vs. Undertaker
King of the Ring 1998 even though i watched this thousand of times and its blurred to death with the WWF logo blurred but its amazing to watch with upscaled HD quality amazing match and the moment that people will never everrrr Forget:)
Check this match out and buy the blu-ray alone if your a newcomer!!

Blu-ray Exclusives ntercontinental Championship Match
Jeff Hardy vs. Randy Orton
Raw - 14th January, 2008

The Cutting Edge with Jeff Hardy
SmackDown - 16th January, 2009

World Heavyweight Championship Match
Edge vs. John Cena vs. Big Show
WrestleMania 25 5th April, 2009

Viewer's Choice Match
John Cena vs. CM Punk
Raw - 7th June, 2010

#this match is worth it alone with nexus debuting quite awesome moment when the destroyed the ring,
Another reason to purchase the Blu-ray over the DVD!!

In the end its worthy Purchase but it could have been a bit better and more matches included, the dvd and blu-ray had plenty of space so there is no reason but what you have is fun to watch and great for the casual viewer, for the hardcore WWE fan it is great but there will be a lot of disappointments.

Remember to pick up the Blu-ray for the Better Picture and Exclusive Content!!
Comes Recommended,
I will give it 7.5/10 half a point for the Blu-ray Exclusives.
Thanks.

1.0 out of 5 stars Dissapointing, 25 Oct 2011
This review is from: WWE - OMG! - The Top 50 Incidents In WWE History [DVD] (DVD)
Ok, so as a kid (and now secretly as an adult) I loved WWF/ WWE and watched all the PPVs and house shows avidly. I remember some huge moments of great wrestling, or amazing moments that you didn't see coming - those 'OMG' moments (as the DVD entitles). But, dissapointly, this DVD catalogues so many of those 'why did they even bother' moments. Do you remember Gene Snitsky in 2004 kicking a doll into the crowd? Yes? No? Even if you did, I can't imagine you would have it as number 25 in the top 50 WWE moments.

I am not sure how a three disk DVD set of the top 50 moments in WWE history (note the word 'history') can only include one moment with Hulk Hogan - the man that argueably put proffesional wrestling where it is today - and even that was number 50 and was brushed aside.

There are too many moments of Steve Austin. If he isn't spraying beer on Vince, he is filling his car with cement, or crushing a coach with a digger or singing songs in the ring to name but a few. Where are the classic moments? The moments that made the WWE were it is today.

Out of the 50 moments I think about 10 to 15 are justified but the rest are 'fillers' - which is hugely dissapointing. Only one moment for The Rock, one of Bret Hart and one of Hulk Hogan - surely the top 50 moments in wrestling history should include the biggest names in the business. To put it into context one of the 'top 50 moments' was a referee attempting to commit suicide each week - really? If you started watching wrestling from about 2004 you will like this, as it seems to ignore everything that happened before this date.

Sorry WWE, but this is one of the worst yet!

2.0 out of 5 stars OMG The Top 50 "incidents", 14 Feb 2012
Amazon Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: WWE - OMG! - The Top 50 Incidents In WWE History [DVD] (DVD)
This is a three disk set, packaged the same as a number of other WWE releases like 10TH Anniversary of Smackdown, 15th Anniversary of Raw as well as others. But, you dont get a little booklet saying what matches and other stuff are on each disk.
Disk 1 is a count down of the top 50 moments, with little segments from wrestlers about the clip, these include, JR, CM Punk, Booker T, John Cena, Jerry "The King" Lawler and a few others. This is ok, but alot of the top 50 "incidents" are on the 10th anniversary of smackdown and 15th anniversary of Raw. Plus there is a lot of Stone Cold Steve Austin.
Disc 2 covers promos and matches in full from the Top 50 countdown:

Rowdy Roddy Piper Gives Haiti Kid a Haircut
Tuesday Night Titans - 7th March, 1986

Jake The Snake Roberts Attacks Macho Man Randy Savage
Superstars - 23rd November, 1991

Hardcore Match

WrestleMania 22 - 2nd April, 2006

Overall, if you have smackdown and Raw anniversary sets then I wouldnt bother with this set, unless you are a die hard fan.
