I wanted an all-rounder to replace my 4 year old Remington, which was never amazing, but had a good life.
Once I'd worked out what all the bits were for, and which ones clipped on to what, I was ready for a bit of manscaping. On first attempt, I tried the variable combs, which I found to be a little bit clumsy, and didn't cut short enough. One of the fixed combs turned out to be just about perfect though, and I'm now very happy with the result. It's better than I ever got with my Remington. I also tried the nose hair trimmer (I've never used one before), and that seemed to work too, although nose hair isn't really an issue for me. I'll never use the foil shaver, as I prefer the round heads of a Philishave.
For the price bracket this kit is in, I don't see how you're going to get any better than this, a great package for the casual groomer :)

I bought this primarily as a beard trimmer to replace an old Remington trimmer that is wearing out. The performance on my old trimmer even in it's "old age" is far superior to this BaByliss unit. Firstly the BaByliss does not look the same as the picture - the photo was obviously taken with lots of flash to make the main unit and a couple of the attachments look like they are chrome finish - its all actually made of naff looking grey plastic. In use the trimmer heads on their own cut very close with much discomfort but the main problem is the poor quality attachments which basically render the product useless. The foil shaver did nothing on short stubble, the ear/nose trimmer made a noise but that was all. The clip on attachments for the trimmer heads do not fit well at all and actually prevented the blades from cutting. The "alleged" precision attachments are the worst, on the shortest setting BaByliss claim it cuts hair to a 3mm length, in use it cut nothing off hair that was approx 1cm long. I had some minor success with the jaw blending attachments but even these didn't cut as close as stated in the manual - the 3mm attachment cut to about 6mm. All in all a bad experience with this product and as the title says possibly the worst trimmer i ever bought and has put me off the brand for good, which is ironic really as the best trimmer i ever owned was also made by BaByliss.

the price might be right and tempting... but i'd hold on to the £20 if i was you... invest in something better.

I upgraded from a previous and very similar model - the BaByliss 7-in-1 'T76B' - and this model is definitely better as it offers longer battery life with less charge time, offers 10 functions in one rather than 7, and uses a more powerful motor for better results. This model also includes a very useful press-and-hold 'turbo' button for tackling thicker hair growth. Importantly, this unit is small enough to take away if you do travel with it, and it's not unnecessarily big and cumbersome like some beard trimmers on the market (e.g., it fits comfortably in your hand). This product is an excellent purchase for less than £20.00; the trimmer is a high quality build (e.g., strong and not flimsy), is aesthetically pleasing (although looks are less important than functionality), and the trimmer performs very well in all configurations (e.g., no painful snagging of hairs).

I really don't understand previous comments about poor build quality and poor performance; admittedly I do not trim for style but just for low-maintenance (e.g, generally just for "tidying up"), but this trimmer is very precise, easy to use, well-built, it looks good (its grey plastic appearance actually very closely resembles what you see advertised here on Amazon), the heads are easy to attach and detach, and crucially this product is easy to clean. The instructions are comprehensive and easy to read (they even include specific 'how-to' guidnance for achieving different styles), some oil and a comb are included (I use the comb to clean the device - unsure whether this is its intended use but it works well), and the stand is a useful setup.

There is no travel bag (some times supplied with trimmers), but this is not a significant problem and should not deter people from buying this value-for-money product. It would also be useful if Amazon or BaByliss sold refills of the lubricating oil.

Overall, this product earns a 5-star rating; a 10-in-1 trimmer for less than £20.00 is money well spent!

Nothing bad to say about this product found it very good all attachments are good quality and it comes with a stand to hold everything tidy for you. Excellent would recommend. :-) :-)

Bought this for my partner. He finds all components useful, and it's handy that it all comes together in one stand, which is tidy and nicely presented. Would recommend for any man looking to keep his grooming in check.

Delivered as stated,attachments easy to use/change.
Holds its charge well,nose attachment not the best, neither is the shaver but eh what you expect for the price!

Not the best product I have bought - some of the attachments (the foil shaver) are very ineffective.
However, the normal trimmers are very good and did the job well.

Just a quick initial opinion of this product. Looks good, decent feel about it; would prefer a designed box to hold everything; the stand that is displayed is easy to knock and drop things. As for actual use of the product, so far I've tried the beard trimmer which was ok and the body trimmer which, frankly, was a waste of time. I used the correct trimmer and comb and even on the shortest settings of both, it didn't touch the hair. the whole reason to use this product is to stay neatly trimmed but you'd have to be a wookie for this bit to be any use. I ended up using the shortest beard trimmer available to get it anywhere I needed it which isn't ideal as the head is too small. Must be better products out there.
