On paper these drawers look fine, but in reality they are quite flimsy and cheaply made. They can be unstacked (and frequently therefore fall apart if you try to move them) but there's only one top, so if you have two stacks of two drawers instead of one stack of four, one won't have a lid, which makes the stacking function seem sort of pointless.
The worst thing about them, though, is that there's very little holding the drawers in place at the back, so when they are opened they are very difficult to shut again as they come loose at the back when opened (every single time) which is very frustrating. I've frequently trapped my fingers when trying to push them back in (that final inch is very hard to close!).
My advice if you want these sort of drawers is to go down to high street shops instead (such as wilkos, who have a far superior and much more solid version of these type of drawers for £18 -see link: [...] ) where you can test the product out before buying them. I've relegated my set to the garage as it didn't seem worth the postage and bother to send them back.
Badly designed product :(
