5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic book
This is the third book by Richard Rohr that I have so far read, and it will certainly not be the last. I thouroughly enjoyed the easy readability, the concise and wisdom-filled chapters, the intelligent biblical quotes and references and indeed also the good humour! Speaking as someone who does not attend church and has a general dislike of ritualistic religion, Richard...

3.0 out of 5 stars Alright but not great
A vigorous engagement with the subject of "male spirituality". considered to be necessary as men's access to and engagement with their intuitive side happens significantly less frequently than in women. Verified Purchase(What is this?)
A vigorous engagement with the subject of "male spirituality". considered to be necessary as men's access to and engagement with their intuitive side happens significantly less frequently than in women. As such, men are considered to need greater guidance in the "spiritual journey" than do women. It is an interesting proposition and the subject receives a clear, hands on exposition form the author. But Thomas Merton has covered similar terrain and does it better.

5.0 out of 5 stars Real Masculinity...without being Macho!, 21 Sep 2014
By
J. E. Page (Liverpool, Merseyside) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
A deeply thoughtful response from someone who has reflected not only upon the role of 'the leader' in today's complex world, but also of how to engage with humility and compassion in doing so.
An excellent and stimulating read!
Can't wait to read his other books now
