I first saw the surger at a wedding I went to and the Guinness was fantastic. As soon as I got home I googled it and found it. Ordered it straight away. Have not looked back since. It's a talking point when you have friends around. Most of the people that see it end up going to buy one! I cannot stress how good the Guinness tastes...rich and creamy with a perfect head everytime. The only thing I would say is that the sonic wave created by the unit to "bring it alive" works on "thinner glasses" best, obviously the Guinness ones work fine. Buy one, you will not be dissapointed.

Absolutely delighted with the product - it really does taste exactly like hand pulled in Dublin !! Had a few friends around and all the guys went away with the intention of buying one of these sets. Praise indeed.

This is the best Guinness you can get at home without installing your own pump! I bought a 'professional' suger unit off ebay and the cans from another online retailer! The Guinness is pretty close to the stuff you get in Ireland! The only real difference is the head is not as creamy. Shame the cans are more expensive than normal draught Guinness, but then I guess you get what you pay for! Highly recommended :)

I must say, I was pretty sceptical when I read about the Surger. The promise of draught quality Guinness has been around since before the Widget and i thought this would be another gadget that would be used once and then consigned to the kitchen cupboard forever. How wrong I was!! Assuming that you follow the instructions carefully (ie. chill the tin for a minimum of 24 hours, pour it slowly into the glass and put a wee bit of water on the unit), the results are brilliant. As others have stated, the result is excellent. A proper head which lasts all the way to the bottom (the trus test of good Guinness as we all know!) and a creamy smooth flavour. Truly brilliant.

I bought this for my dad for his birthday he loves his guiness especially a pint at the pub. He was chuffed when he received this package the next day (fantastic shipping!) and tried it straight away he said it tasted just like a pub pint, the only trouble is he's finished the cans and is struggling to find them without going online. Still highly recommend the surger makes a great gift.

My partner and I love a nice cold Guinness. These surger cans are brilliant, tastes just like a normal pint down your local unlike some of the draught cans.

this surger is really good and far better than trying to use the draft cans, it also looks amazing when you try it out on the bar, also you dont get any wasteage as with barrels. definately a good investment
