I have to admit when this show first came out I wasn't much of a fan, but now I truly believe American Dad to be the best of the Seth Macfarlane trifecta. If you don't believe me then let this dvd change your mind, gasp at 100 character deaths, behold Toshi becoming a badass samurai warrior, gaze in wonder and amazement as psychotic redneck Rod Tod takes on an army of christmas elves and soil yourself laughing as principal lewis starts getting more air time. To sum up ladies and gentlemen of amazon I give you the greatest season of american dad ever!! (at least until the next one comes along)

Yet again another fantastic season of American Dad I laughed throughout every episode Roger just gets worse and worse which for me means funnier and funnier. My favourite few of these amazing 19 episodes are 100 A.D, Best little horror house in langley falls,The people V.S Martin Sugar,The office episode (Forgot the name damn) For whom the sleigh bell tolls. So before i make my favourites list go on too long if you have any doubts about buying this just know that as far as I know these have never been on BBC3 (well I hadn't seen any of these before the DVD) so that's a bonus and they are really REALLY funny. This was well worth it for 19 fresh new episodes of my favourite animated show OH BOY ITS SWELL TO SAYYYYYY GOOD MORNING USA!!!!!!
Plus the extras are brilliant especially "I <3 Patrick Stewart" and American dad at comic con.

It is the general conception with most television series that as the show progresses it becomes some what stale in plot points and story lines, especially in that of animated tv series. However this can not be said in this individuals opinion for American Dad in which Volume 7 sees the show hit the heights of comedy gold. The intricate story lines of which progress further into the season than just that of a single episode such as that of Hayley's marriage to local 'stoner' Jeff, much to the dismay of Stan and Francine, this adds to the whole groundwork of which this great season has been developed and with more crazy and laugh out loud episodes featured over this three disc set it is easy to see why American Dad has suddenly became so much more popular in recent years.

I love 'American Dad!'! I don't think that series 4 can be topped, but this series came close! I like how all 3 of Seth's series now all come in one DVD case and not spread out into 3 slim DVDs. Its a real space saver and looks neater!
However, buying off sites such as Amazon.co.uk and HMV.co.uk, both 'American Dad! - Volume 6' (HMV) and 'American Dad! - Volume 7' (Amazon) that I have bought have come WITHOUT slipcases or sleeves!

Now, to most people, this wouldn't matter, but being a collector myself, I like to keep my collections looking neat, tidy and consistent. For example, all my 'Family Guy' series, from Season 1 (1999) to Season 11 (2011), are ALL either in a box-set box or a slipcase/sleeve - when seen together on the shelf (or wherever you keep your DVDs) they look good!
With these past two 'American Dad!' volumes I've bought on the internet, it does look a bit odd that it goes from a big 'AD!: Volume 1-3' box-set box, Volume 4 VHS sized DVD case with slipcase, Volume 5 single DVD sleeve... Then 6 & 7 as just normal DVDs that then join up with 'The Cleveland Show' which has another 2 series with single DVD sleeves.

Sorry for my O.C.D rants guys!! If no slipcase bothers you or not, you should DEFINITELY buy 'American Dad! Volume 7'! Stan gets dimmer, Roger gets ruder, Klaus gets.... German..er? (If that's a word!) Unlike 'Family Guy', which in my opinion has deteriorated a bit in the last few years, 'American Dad!' is something that does just get better, and better with each series!

Huge American Dad fan, been watching them since they first started, obviously pre-ordered this item straight away before it's release date. Found it to be very funny but not as funny as previous seasons, not sure why ? new writers maybe ? not sure, but the comedy seems a bit all over the place, a bit random and thrown together. It has its good points don't get me wrong but just some episodes are a little poor in my opinion. Other than that a funny season to watch. (Everyone's a critic)

Wonderful as ever. I never get tired of American Dad, and actually slightly prefer it to Family Guy. A must-have dvd.

I started out as family Guy fan (still am one) and decided to try get into American Dad.
The early episodes were brilliant. I was beginning to lose interest in American Dad after the disappointing episodes Season 6 had to offer (in my opinion they were BORING)

This season is honestly one of the funniest and entertaining I've seen!! The writers managed to find the perfect balance so that each character got their fair share of screen-time. I LOVE Roger but (like in season 6) I don't want like eight episodes just about him. I want a bit of Stan. I want a bit of Francine. Hell, I want to see a bit more of Jeff! This season develops each character and it does successfully!

Just as with the Family Guy's "Halloween on Spooner St", the Halloween American Dad episode had be cracking up and wins my vote for the best episode of this season. As much as I love Family Guy, this was a fantastic season. Great jokes, great animation and great character development!

It has the sexual appeal of Francine (all cartoons need this - Lois in Family Guy Meg to a lesser extent, Leela and Amy of Futurama, and the Simpsons has their input of femininity too) But Stan is light years better than Peter Griffin who is frankly irritating, Homer & Bender likewise.
Side characters actually good too. Roger the alien is AmDad's "Quagmire" (to me the best character by far in Family Guy, the bore "Brian" being by far the worst)
But it's the stories, and it frequently goes where the others daren't. Yes, it at times does the MASSIVELY annoying "issues" garbage. Simpsons is by far the worst for this, but all the others do it too. But American Dad defuses issues by taking the p*** out of them. Racism, "Islamaphobia" and of course the perenial gay/lesbian - (the usual suspects in other words) no bowing and scraping. Just laughing at, and being being laughed back at. NOT taken too seriously, as it should be.
And - IT'S FUNNY !!!!

This is the seventh season of American Dad, and after watching it, I have to say it's miles away from the first three seasons . Just average enternainment.
