on 23 July 2014
Box was just put in a thin plastic bag and posted via TNT. End of box squashed in transit, end of foil roll damaged. As the end of the roll had been damaged it kept tearing in that position when trying to unroll. Wasted 5m or so of foil to get past the damage.
The foil roll also has no holders at each end to hold it in place in the box meaning varying results/varying success in getting the foil out in one piece without tearing unnecessarily. The foil is very thin and coupled with varying amounts of strength being required due to their being no roll holders supplied in the box it can be frustrating.
Luckly was able to reuse some roll holders from a Kirkland (Costco) foil roll to try and even out the force required to unroll, this works much better.
Doubt I would purchase this foil again as although the box damage was not the fault of the foil manufacturer, the foil is very thin and tears too easily which when cooking can mean small almost unnoticeable tears in the foil when wrapping the food which allow the cooking liquid/juices to flow out and burn to the side of the oven pan.
The lack of plastic roll holders inside the box to stabilise the roll when unrolling was the biggest let down.
