Box was just put in a thin plastic bag and posted via TNT. End of box squashed in transit, end of foil roll damaged. As the end of the roll had been damaged it kept tearing in that position when trying to unroll. Wasted 5m or so of foil to get past the damage.

The foil roll also has no holders at each end to hold it in place in the box meaning varying results/varying success in getting the foil out in one piece without tearing unnecessarily. The foil is very thin and coupled with varying amounts of strength being required due to their being no roll holders supplied in the box it can be frustrating.

Luckly was able to reuse some roll holders from a Kirkland (Costco) foil roll to try and even out the force required to unroll, this works much better.

Doubt I would purchase this foil again as although the box damage was not the fault of the foil manufacturer, the foil is very thin and tears too easily which when cooking can mean small almost unnoticeable tears in the foil when wrapping the food which allow the cooking liquid/juices to flow out and burn to the side of the oven pan.

The lack of plastic roll holders inside the box to stabilise the roll when unrolling was the biggest let down.

Please do not waste your money on this item, this is not catering foil it is like wafer thin paper its dressed up as being in a box with a foil cutting edge, believe me you dont need it you could tear it quite easily buy just applying minimal pressure.
The best thing regarding this product is the box which is quite sturdy as it needs to be to protect the weak foil inside.

It is a very cheap, thin aluminium foil. But it is very long and cheap. If you just need lots of foil, or are after a thin foil this is ideal. If you want something thick or good quality you will need to spend a little more.

For quality 1 star
For length 5 star
For price 5 star

The price was decent, but the foil is very thin.

I could buy 3 smaller and very thick foil boxes in Lidl, for less than this price.

Having said that, if you need thin foil, this would be better.

This is a decent grade of tinfoil you can crimp it well if you're covering something for the oven or fridge, it's also reusable because of its strength so it lasts a lot longer than the cheap stuff.

This foil is a little thinner (by about 15%) than several other more expensive brands, but is perfectly adapted to use a kitchen foil. I'm very pleased with it.

Nice foil. Not thick, but not thin and tearing. The size beats everything. Could't find any better offer for that money!
