Living in Ireland it's not so often you find a book that describes someone like you having the adventure of a lifetime. I loved Truth or Dare for this reason, and because once I picked it up I had to keep on reading it till I found out the ending (very exciting!). Truth or Dare shows that we're not all James Joyce and Riverdance in Ireland you know!

I very much like Sue 's early novels which have very original and different story lines. This turned out to be spookier and more scary than some but then there's that twist at the end........ a good read.

I recently read this book for school. I loved it from the first word. I read alot and this is one of the best books I have ever seen. It has a strange way of telling you what is going one but still keeps you guessing. I sugest this book to anyone of any age.

I have now read several of Sara Sheridan's novels, and I have found them to be original and unusual. I feel they are not in the least formulaic; the only similar characteristics are that they are often centred around 2 very strong characters . I would not have normally chosen a book with revenge on the IRA as it's theme, however, this book made it personal and made me interested despite myself. I am looking forward to reading all the rest. Do give this author a try.

I have enjoyed other Sara Sheridan books so I thought I would try this novel but I have to say I never really 'got into this book'. I did not like the two main characters and felt not empathy with the plight of the main character. I found the plot a little thin as it didn't really develop, althought the book did give some insight into the troubles in Northern Ireland. An OK read but no more.

The first Sara Sheridan book I read was Brighton Belle and I thought it was terrific. Ma Polinsky's pockets was different enough to be interesting, but not what I expected. The one about the call girls in China seemed a bit flat, and to be honest I wasn't that bothered what happened to the girls in Truth or Dare. I'm not sure I will read any more books by Sara Sheridan.
