My last computer was a Sony state of the art (in it's time) desk top.
It was with me for 12 years, but our love affair was growing a little strained.
Boot up time was very slow (up to 25 minutes).
This new sweetheart is an amazing piece of kit and I would recommend it to anyone
thinking of buying a new computer, it really is fabulous.
I saved over a £100.00 by buying a secondhand unit which was out of the Amazon stable.
I'm 76 and the fun I have had with this kit is amazing.
Every time I sit down with it there is something new to find out.
Having used XP professional for so many years, Windows 7 takes a bit of getting used to, but in time it will be as easy to use as XP PRO.
The same price as a laptop, but a 21.5" screen, absolutely wonderful sounds and the screen is as good , if not better, than any HD TV.
Go on treat yourself !!!

I love this machine! I paid just under 500 quid for it about 6 months ago to replace an Acer laptop, so the present price of 430 is brilliant! I got fed up with buying expensive laptops (do most of us really need a laptop?) that always had some issue or other that invariably needed attention after a few months or so.

This touch screen machine by Lenovo is very easy to set up straight from the box and looks very pleasant to the eye. There aren't lots of cables and plugs to hook up either. If you just want a PC that looks good and does all the simple things quickly and easily.......look no further!

The screen is just a delight to view and the picture resolution is superb. I'm really pleased with this purchase. I'm no computer snob and definitely not a techno wizard by any stretch of the imagination but I do know a good buy when I see one and this IS a good buy!

I've only one gripe, which has been mentioned by other reviewers. The keyboard is very clunky and doesn't match the quality of the PC. But having said that, its of little importance if you use the touch screen to its optimum performance!

I did a really in depth search of (all in one computers) prior to ordering the Lenvo idea Centre B320.Set up was easy, and my two HP printers and drivers were recogninsed by the computer, so no sending away for new Cds or downloading from the internet.I have now had the computer for about a month, and to date can say its the best computer I have ever had, no doubt windows 7 is also playing its part in my review. Although its still early days, I have no hesitation in recomending this computer. However, should there ever be a need to contact the manufactuers, then I always consider this to be the divining measure of excellence or lack of it.-- BWG.

I set this up for an elderly couple who wanted a big screen because of poor vision. They paid a bit more at PCworld. They could have got the faster one for what they paid. The set up was straightforward except for the wireless keyboard and mouse. We think that it was because of dud batteries. I added a USB kb and mouse but, as there are only two USB sockets and I had to add a cheap 4 x USB adapter as their printer was not wireless. I replaced the Kaspersky AV with Microsoft's version and installed the free parts of Office 2010 (just Excel and Word) The camera with video astounded them. They are going to have lots of fun from this PC after struggling with a little netbook for months. Really pleased for them. Ideal for their small workstation. I would recommend this PC and have added something about it to my site at [...]

This computer was purchased to replace an older desktop running on windows vista. Straight away we were impressed but the ease of set up and the speed the new computer runs at; I can say we highly recommend this desktop.

We are very pleased with this 'all in one' it is our first new PC in 7 years so it is a vast improvement anyway. Very easy to set up and the one cable makes it so much tidier than all the different cables before. Gorgeous big screen, good sound from the speakers and looks impressive.
One point to make however is that the product description as mentioned by others is generic for all models in this range so I rang Amazon with a list of questions to clarify the features included with this model - Lenovo IdeaCentre B 320 (costing £498.30-details 2.6GHz,4Gb,500Gb ). Even then one of the answers was incorrect so be warned to be very clear about what you are getting before ordering!
Saying that we are very happy with it and feel it was a good decision.

REVIEW UPGRADE

Now that I've had my computer four weeks I thought it was worth revising my review and give it five stars.

It works fantastically. The only thing I would say is this: the keyboard is a bit bouncy for me - but that is easily rectifiable by getting a different keyboard.

As I said before: do ring up Amazon first and find out what spec you will be getting before ordering this model from them. The three options are very confusing and the generic description seems to include features that may not be available for the machine at this price point: blue tooth, wireless enabled, TV buttons down side of monitor allowing you to watch TV without turning the computer on. Mine doesn't have any of these features, and I paid the lowest price option so I wasn't too disappointed; but the middle price option doesn't have them either - apparently; and someone else wrote that the highest price option oesn't too - making all three models identical but all different prices!! That makes no sense at all.

Check first - so as not to be disappointed.

The instructions are 'carp' (you get my drift if kids are reading) but the set up is easy and no need for heaps of messy cables to fathom out; a masters graduate in Computer Technology on standby; and downloading internet software to get basic internet functionality from the off. It all seems to work straight away.

You can download your old Microsoft 2003 suite on it - no problem (I prefer that for Publisher, which isn't available on the later versions of the Small Business Edition). Don't need Win7 pro or ultimate at all. Obviously you need the appropriate license number to do this.

I have been a computer user for many years, but have to admit this piece of equipment has been a total surprise and joy! Everything is easy and best of all quick...now realise what a drag (literally) my old computer has been! Can't recommend this highly enough and, as always, the service from Amazon was excellent.
