On my system this memory gets 7.6 out of 7.9 in the Windows Experience Scores (64 bit Windows 7 Home Premium). That's with "optimized defaults" loaded in BIOS - no special tweaks. Another reviewer refers to getting 7.8 out of 7.9 so maybe some tweaks are needed.

Like some other reviewers, I had to manually set the memory to run at 1600Mhz - the auto default seemed to be 1333Mhz (which is odd for memory sold as 1600Mhz, but maybe that is down to the motherboard). Changing it to 1600Mhz in BIOS didn't seem to have any effect on the Windows performance scores though.

I'm using this with
* Gigabyte motherboard: Gigabyte SKT-1155 Z77X-UD5H Wi-Fi Motherboard and
* Intel CPU: Intel 3rd Generation Core i5-3570K CPU (4 x 3.40GHz, Ivy Bridge, Socket 1155, 6Mb L3 Cache, Intel Turbo Boost Technology 2.0)

At first i'd bought the vengance memory with the high coolers but due to having the Mugen 2 Rev B cooler fitted i realised i hadn't much overhead clearance in the RAM slots so i had to go for these LP (Low Profile) versions. They work perfect, performance is great and cooling is not an issue even though they're 1600 Mhz @ 1.5v. Well recnmennded and their low profile great for system builders og high end machines. Their profile is under 30mm compared to the ones with the high coolers which reach over 54mm, lesson here, check your clearance if your memory slots are obstructed by an aftermarket cooler. Been using them six months now and never a glitch or blue screen in sight.

I recently upgraded my computer and as a result of browsing reviews chose some Corsair Vengeance RAM for my system, I chose to buy a set of the low profile RAM due to the size of the fins on the regular version obstructing the placement of my CPU cooler, I decided to go half and half with the low profile and regular version and once I got it running I have had no issues. I was pleased that I managed to get the RAM running at 1600 MHz with a Phenom II X4 955, which apparently supports up to 1333 MHz, but after a bit of tweaking in the BIOS, I managed to get the RAM to run at its native speed without any issues.

Good performance at a decent price, would definitely recommend either version of this RAM.

Installs easily, seems to run well, overclocks readily. Immediately overclocked it to 1833MHz without having to up the voltage. Might try to get through 2Ghz, but I'm not feeling the need right now.

I'm mildly perturbed by the heat spreader. I'd like to know what integrated circuits they're using without having to google it. Having the heatspreader covering everything gives me a nasty feeling that they might have something to hide. Don't get me wrong, it looks good, and if it serves a real purpose (which I'm still not entirely convinced of) then go ahead. I just wish they'd at least print the information they've covered up with it on the outside of the box or something.

Regardless, the memory is working well at the moment. 8GB is being entirely sufficient for me.

So with my SLI 670 , AMD 8350 , SABERTOOTH 990FX BUILD WITH H100 cooler for the computer builders out there :), my computer set-up , these LOW profile 16GB pack even though they are 8GB i got 16GB in the end and they run perfect , not sure on benchmarks and all the complex side of it because i have not done benchmarks if anyone is interested but with computer games and the speed 1600MHZ (common speed for most computers) don't forget most motherboards will put these to 1300MHZ so set them to 1600MHZ in the BIOS , the manual should show how to do this.

It zooms around my operating system of course it can depend on what the performance of the other parts are liked but overall for the RAM I have had them installed for about 1-2 years now without a issue , cant think of a reason why to update them even though there have been newer models of this RAM , I still stick with them , price is very good so overall I recommend this product.

The product it's self is very good and came on time. The main reason why this did not get 5 starts was the fact that the item only came packed in 2 bags. This has caused the box to become damaged and the plastic protecting the ram sticks has cracked

Product: I put them in an Advent DT1310b with a 2nd gen i5 processor. It says on the pack compatible with with intel processors. I didn't have a problem with the fact these are 1600mHz and my original were 10600 1333mHz. Now my PC is blazing quick. Only gets 4 stars because I don't have the technical knowledge to LOVE them. They are solid sticks though.
Delivery: Delivered on a Sunday as part of amazon prime next day. They were in a solid cardboard envelope, and the box is sturdy enough. Probably depends on who delivers them as to the condition, but in my experience Amazon are pretty good with returns.

A few weeks ago I decided to up the RAM on my Asus H81-M from 4GB to 8GB. As it has just two slots, this meant two new RAM sticks. Happily I could take the two old 2GB sticks and use them in the 4-slot layout on a second build and make that one 8GB as well. Result!

The Corsair website helped me to find the right RAM, which I bought from Amazon (not a third party). It arrived in the full retail packaging. Out of the box the sticks had some real heft - a step up from the 'value' RAM I was using. The price, by the way, for this premium product, was better than the price on a lot of 'value' sticks.

The Asus mobo supports XMP and is rated for 1600MHz RAM. I expected this RAM to operate at that rate once I set the appropriate XMP profile in BIOS. But when I went into setup I could only find a 1333MHz profile. I updated the BIOS. Same result. No 1600MHz profile.

After some web research I found that my processor (Pentium G3258) only supports RAM up to 1333MHz. You can set a faster clock speed in RAM if you tweak the CPU, but that's a step too far for me. Pentium G34XX and up will support 1600MHz, apparently. (Do your own checks if this is important.) I never thought a CPU might limit RAM performance, so a lesson learnt. In any case, for non-gaming use, I think that 1333MHz is perfectly fine and at this level what matters is quantity of RAM, not absolute speed.

So far this RAM is working fine. It installed easily and - as others have said - it's hardly larger than standard RAM sticks and should not cause problems with CPU coolers. It is a well-made product that inspires confidence and I am pleased with the result.

I purchased this RAM for my new gaming pc and it performs perfectly, easy to install and runs like a dream. Although like another reviewer I did have to manually set the clock speed to 1600MHz in my Asus BIOS.
