The C64 was ahead of the pack in the 1980s, and this book demonstrates why. The surprise that comes from reading this book is just how capable and relevant this computer is today. I couldn't resist the urge to download an emulator and the dust will soon be blown from the little beige box languishing in the attic of my parent's home, replete with GEOS, 1541 drive and accessories. I hope the capacitors haven't leaked because I'm itching to sense the wave of nostalgia when the flashing cursor confirm life has returned after a 20 year hibernation. Forgive me, ol'faithful. Author, please keep this project alive and updated.
