I bought this solar charger for my recent overland trip to south america.It proved a very handy accessory and worth carrying along with the rest of my kit. It charged my mobile and "power pack" successfully.I had to be patient with its speed of charging but it got the job done. I used it with its very useful suction pads on windows of buses /trucks.The velcro strap was also very useful to attach to a daypack/backpack. Overall a recommended item .

i brought this item because i wanted to be able to charge my phone, camera, ipods etc. I was not sure it would work as i charge my phone at night so i also purchesed a tecknet usb battery charger. i use the solar pannel to charge the battery and then the battery charges my phone, i have had no problems with this setup. the panel is stuck to my window, facing north and even on a cloudy, overcast day the batterypack gets a full charge. overall i think this product is made of awesome and if you are looking for a more eco friendly way to charge your usb devices, it is a must.

Just to give you warning to double check what you receive, I have ordered two of these and both have been the lower power variety. so if you have ordered one of these, its worth checking what you get.
