5.0 out of 5 stars Oh My.....
I kid you not, this was like reading about the insight of my brain and the way it works. I have always been far more Empathic than anyone I've ever met and now I understand a whole lot more about it. I couldn't be happier than I picked this up and began reading it. Truly a personal insight.

Very interesting subject but unfortunately, Christian Keysers doesn't make it anywhere interesting enough to read about it. You can tell straight away by his style (or lack of) that he's a scientist and not a writer. I very rarely do this but I stopped reading after about 10% (Kindle).

This is written so well I almost understand it. Fascinating ideas clearly explained. The account of the research and the researchers humanises the science.

I am stunned by this book, it has opened up a fascinating area of the brain, that I did not know existed.
