This book gets 4.5 stars because I'm picky, otherwise it is a really heartwarming book with some really sizzling interaction between the protagonists.
I'll get the not-so-good bits out of the way first.
1. Ellie simply goes with away with Rylek as his mate without saying goodbye to her friends or co-workers. It's like her life starts when she moves in with Rylek as Queen of the Vulfen. Fair enough, the truth about their paranormal abilities have to remain a secret but still, the lack of closure bothered me.
2. I won't spoil the story, but how does Roga get away from his jailers given the circumstances?
The rest of the book is fantastic, a good, exciting plot. Rylek is so sexy and seductive, and he makes Ellie feel like the most beautiful and sexy woman in the world, and later on, he is so tender and loving, and the love scenes are written so well, graphic, but tastefully so.
I read the book all the way through in the first sitting, and I've read it several times since, because I just love the characters, not just the leads, but many of the secondary characters, who have been well fleshed out.
There are 3 other books by this author in Kindle format, although the others are not supernatural, just superhunks. I hope that there are lots more from this author in future.
