Unrealistic and predictable
on 23 February 2012
The plot of this book was entirely predictable and as others have said, there were several typos which makes the book appear amateurish. There were several points that were simply ill thought through and entirely impossible - going to Paris for lunch from New York? How would that work then, if it was 10.30 am in New York when the idea was suggested, it is a 6 hour or so flight to Paris, plus Paris is 6 hours ahead of New York, meaning that even if the flight set off the moment the idea was suggested (unlikely), they still would not arrive in Paris until at least 10.30pm, but presumably much later having factored in time to get to the plane, time to get the plane prepared for an impromptu trans-atlantic flight, approval of the route by air traffic control etc etc etc.
Overall, the book reads as though it has been written by a teenager. I found myself losing patience with it and only finished it because it had been paid for. If it had been a free book, it would have been relegated to the "archive" long before the end.
