Like the previous reviewer, I was also at this Wembley show and the previous one at Hammersmith Apollo. It's quite amazing how the band has grown in the past few months and it was pretty clear at the Hammersmith gig that they would rapidly outgrow such a small venue. And sure enough they were ready for an Arena tour within a matter of months.

They absolutely rocked Wembley Arena and knew exactly how to get the crowd going! Their raw energy is captivating and despite jumping around the stage Simon holds every note.

Of course their popularity has sky-rocketed since the release of 'Puzzle' but check out the earlier stuff too. Although it's not so radio-friendly you can hear the trademark catchy hooks coming through already.

Recommend this CD/DVD set 100%... Biffy are about to explode worldwide in a BIG way!

I was at this gig and in 35 years of seeing bands, this was the best single gig I've ever been to. Biffy are an unparalleled combination of energy, musicianship, interesting time-signatures and, above all, killer, killer songs. They were great at the Hammersmith Apollo a few months previously but at this, their first headlining Wembley show, they were on unbelievable form. I was absolutely stoked when I heard they were going to release the lot as a CD/DVD package; I ordered it immediately.

Well the postman called an hour or so ago and listening to the CD now, it's everything I remembered and more. This documents a band at the very top of the tree (a summit that most have no hope of reaching); immaculately crafted songmanship combined with incredible dynamism. The energy coming off this CD is phenomenal and the song selection leaves nothing out. For those of you used to Only Revolutions and Puzzle, have a listen to "57" and the incredible "Justboy" from further back in their catalogue - they're everybit just as good.

I've not penned an Amazon Review before but Biffy forced me to. Can't wait to see the DVD...

So far this year I've been rather consumed by live music. So it would have taken an apocalyptic event to prevent me buying this album. As a fan of Biffy Clyro but not one that's been around them long enough to know of their earlier songs I'd say this is an essential purchase for anyone looking to get to know Biffy.

As the title of the CD suggests it's packed with songs from the most recent album. A great intro for a set with 'The Captain' followed by two more heavy songs in 'Boom, Blast and Ruin' & '57'. Then 4 more tracks from Only Revolutions to lead up to one of my favourites in 'All The Way Down'. The flow of the setlist is perfect and by the time I'd reached Who's Got a Match this had already been sealed for me as utterly brilliant... and that's before I'd watched the show.

I made sure I sat down and watched the DVD in one go (which is really well shot btw). There is also a bonus T in the Park performance with behind the scenes snippets. After watching/listening to this I went back and made sure I got myself Biffy's earlier work. I liked them before his but I can honestly say they're now one of my favourite bands around.

I'd recommend this not only to the fans of Biffy Clyro but to anyone interested in getting to know their work.

As an avid Biffy fan I bought this as soon as it came out, it was a no brainer really. The last time I seen them live was in 2006 at the Glasgow Wah Wah Hut & it was an extremely good show.

There first 3 albums were absolutely brilliant & made them a well known act in around Scotland in addition to their many T in the Park performances. There last 2 albums have been ace too however their early stuff is the best, you should check it out.

Onto this album, live from Wembley, it was always going to be awesome. Never have I seen a Scottish band like Biffy take the world by storm they way they have, a fantastic set list & an unbelievable performance. Opening with The Captain is always a brilliant way to get started as that drumming noise really gets the crowd excited.

They play all the hits including my all time favourites 57 & Machines, two of the greatest songs I have ever heard from a Scottish band in my life.

I would definitely recommend this to any Biffy fan or any fan of good music.

This truly is an incredible performance. A great selection of songs, however it would be nice to see a little more of their back catalogue. Even with the deluxe edition there is only a meagre six songs from their first three albums, fortunately including the timeless 'There's No Such Thing As A Jaggy Snake.'

With a heartfelt acoustic rendition of 'Folding Stars' which could bring an orc to tears and fast-paced, accentuated performances of 'Glitter and Trauma' and 'Living Is A Problem Because Everything Dies,' you really can't go wrong with this live album.

However, this is not the authentic Biffy experience. The true experience can only be achieved by seeing the Biff live. Great as this live album is, there has been an excessive amount of post-production - namely autotuning on Simon's voice. Simon's voice is incredible enough not to necessitate the use of pirch-correction. It is a shame they have used it, because it saps almost all character from Simon's voice and leaves only a perfectly tuned yet hollow representation of the vocal beast that is Simon Neil. It makes the songs sound like they're sung by an android an in some cases (for example 'That Golden Rule') renders the song almost unlistenable.

So, in conclusion: If you're just looking for a rockin' Biffy show packed with stadium anthems and big sounds, this is definitely for you. However, if you want a slice of raw Biff, there really is no alternative to seeing them live for yourself.

Although I'd had this cd/dvd some time I didn't really play them until I'd seen Biffy at T in the Park, where they were awesome. I watched the dvd first and it's amazing. I wish I had been there when this was recorded, these guys know how to party. They are all about singing/playing their hearts out for the fans. I love that they can change from massively loud to exquisitely quiet and the filming and production on this show is superb. Although I love the whole thing, loud or quiet, for me the little nugget of gold is the quiet section of folding stars/diary of always/machines. Because it's so different to the rest of the show it stopped me in my tracks and is so beautiful I almost stopped breathing. For anyone who has had a loss of any kind and not really dealt with it these three songs can be cathartic and were like a floodgate opening. Having said that, if you are going along that path you should make sure you are somewhere private so you can sit on the floor and howl!! Another great thing about their music is that it's made me return to playing guitar after many years of looking at it gathering dust.... I bought music for some of the songs and feel alive again after such a long time of not!!!! I will be buying MUCH more Biffy.

I genuinely do not know how to describe just how good this album is. In 2010 i was lucky enough to see Biffy Clyro 3 times, Belfast, Prague, & Edinburgh. This cd/dvd is just the absolute perfect reminder of all the fun i had at those gigs. I have never heard a band sound so good live, and the energy that goes into their performances electrifies the crowd, you can literally feel the buzz when you are there, and when the crowd sings in harmony to the heartfelt lyrics, its an amazing feeling to be part of it. If you love Biffy, i'm sure you'll not need much convincing to get this, if your not sure or are new to Biffy, get this, and you will listen to it over and over again. From the intro of "The Captain", right through to "Mountains"(which still gives me goosebumps listening to it) is immense. Even songs like "57" sound much better here than they do on their original album. I know i sound like a gushing fool but I have had this since the release date, and it quickly turned into the only album i listen too, on the ipod, in the car, wherever, Live @ Wembley is my choice to listen. The best live band i have ever seen, and the best CD i have ever owned. Mon The Biff.

One of the best bands of this generation! The dvd shows the band at their best, playing Wembley Arena in London after the release of their 5th record called Only Revolutions.
The trio played for an hour and a half spacing through all their hits.
In the middle, Folding Stars - Diary of Always - Machines are the high point of the show.
Four years later, Biffy are even better. The band headlined the main stage at the Reading/Leeds Festival last year and the T in the Park this summer. They are now famous in the US and in Australia.
One of my fav bands ever, definitely.
You should buy it, if you like the band!

Been a fan of Biffy Clyro for a good many years. Always heard how good they are live and how good this cd/dvd was, so decided to buy it. And what can I say but wow! This is a great recording and shows how a live album should be done. Hearing the crowd reaction to the songs and feeling like you are there. Any fan of Biffy Clyro will tell you how good they are live, I was lucky enough to see them live last year in Birmingham. So what are you waiting for buy this album or you will regret it.

Unbelieveably good live show, really well directed and some great slo-motion shots of the action. After watching this I am now on a mission to own every Biffy Album there is...

The sound quality on this dvd is brilliant, and I would go as far to say this is one of, if not THEE best - live show dvd i have ever seen!!!! Well worth the money, absolute bargain - cd and a dvd for such a small price.

If you love Biffy, you will LOVE THIS... You HAVE to buy it!!!!
