This monitor does so much

The night light acts like a gro-egg so you can tell how hot it really is at a glance, it has a variety of tunes (not just lullabies, classical music and white noise for newborns), the light show is simple yet effective with slow fades and it spans across the ceiling. The sound is fantastic - I had an angelcare monitor before which I loved but there was so much interference and it kept cutting out on me so only ended up using the sensor mat - this has excelled itself, crystal clear sound which barely any static at all. There are some features I don't really 'get' yet like the crying alert (as you'd hear your little on cry anyway) but I guess it could be useful for some people. If BT released something identical to this but with a sensor mat it would be THE perfect monitor, completely flawless. I really do love this monitor and even though it's pricey it's completely worth the money as it saves you buying that gro-egg/slumber bear/light show you've been eyeing up. A wonderful buy.

Seems to do it's job pretty well, the music is nice, the light show is fine, the thermometer works in big leaps, but the big problem we had was about 5 months into using it (bearing in mind baby was only 5 months old so still in our room so it wasn't getting constant use by any means) it stopped working. The parent unit refused to switch off, and did some very interesting things. Amazon were (as always) fab with getting a replacement sent out next day, which so far is still working well, but I'm a bit more cautious of it now!

I was given this monitor as a gift for my second baby.
The night light is great, it visually tells you the temperature and gives enough light to allow you to do things during the night without being too bright.
The visual star and moon display has settled my new born in the night and gives us a chance to get back to sleep. My 22 month old also loves watching the stars and moon and snuggles down with us in the early morning to watch it, which is an invaluable lie in! He also loves the music and was amazed when he heard it for the first time.
The monitor sound quality is amazing and we can hear our baby perfectly and it is also helpful to speak to my partner when he is in a different room.
This monitor far outstrips my previous monitor and all in all it's the best baby monitor there is!

As many of the other reviews have already said, this is monitor is fantastic.

In relation to the 'monitoring' bit, it is amazingly clear. It works perfectly through walls, floors and ceilings (something other monitors sometimes struggle with) and if very simple to use. Like many high-end monitors these days, it also comes with a temperature monitor and has some extras added in for good measure.

It has a night-light/light-show function, as well as a music function. Both offer a good variety with the music offering both MP3 and pre-recorded lullabies which, whilst not the best quality sound, are good enough.

In terms of build quality, these appear to be made from a durable plastic, and to date I've had no issues with any of the functions not working properly. All-in-all a fantastic buy.

I love this monitor. The reception is crystal clear. You can hear your baby breathe if you wish - never mind cry! The light show is basic but our baby loves it regardless. The songs are not too bad although i only really play the lullabies. The natural sounds are a bit annoying. The ability to control the lightshow/music/nightlight etc from the parent unit is a great idea and prevents too many trips upstairs to turn the music back on if your little one hasnt settled. The battery life is good although we keep it on charge during the night anyway. The only downside is that the power on/off button on the main unit is quite difficult to use. Its possibly just a fault with the one we have, but it takes a good few presses each time for it to turn on or off. No big deal though - only a little inconvenience for a fantastic monitor.

I chose this monitor because it looked totally different to the last one I had for my oldest daughter. When it arrived my first impression was WOW!! I have to say the picture on here does not do it justice, it just looks ace. My husband even said it looked pretty awesome, and he pays little or no interest at all in stuff like this. The first thing I have to say is that the light show is pretty cool for such a little gadget, we used to have one of those Winnie the pooh things that went on the cot, but this is far superior. I have not tried the mp3 player yet but then I don't have any lullaby's on the ipod that would suit being plugged in. The sound quality on the receiver is crystal clear and it does the job it's supposed to do. Would recommend this product to all as its multifunctional, portable, rechargeable and just looks like one of the coolest monitors I have seen.

We were given this baby monitor by a kindly friend and have been thankful for the delicious hours of sleep it has allowed us since we began using it. The thermometer is really useful and gives you the confidence to let baby sleep in just his sleepsuit or vest rather than overheating in a grobag.
The musical medley is really soothing and much more bearable than competitor products.
The best thing about this monitor though is the sound quality. There's absolutely no interference (unlike our old monitor) and the sound is crystal clear. It's reliable and offers peace of mind when baby is asleep in his nursery - we can even use the monitor in the garden.
The torch has come in pretty handy for night-time feeds too, and saves waking Dad!
I'd recommend this wholeheartedly, as it really helped our baby return to sleeping through the night once we moved him to his own room.

This baby's monitor and pacifier is brilliant, simple to use and has loads of functions. Within three minutes of the monitor being out of the box it was up and running. There are two units the parents unit and the baby unit are linked wirelessly, a simple task of holding the buttons down for a few seconds.

The parent unit can be used to check the bubba, check the temp of the room and, brilliantly, talk to the bubba which can mean you can stay in your bed when the little one is just needing some reassurance. The parent unit does need charging for 16 hours before it is decently charged but that is no biggy, it also includes a handy torch so you can check the bubba without turning on lights.

Other great functions are the light show, gentle stars and the music section, it plays classical lullabies and nature sounds, I like the bird song. You can even time these functions. Brilliant. You can also connect your mp3 player to the baby unit to play your music choices, and that means you could record your voice to soothe the bubba.

The manufacturers have even included a decent length of cord, a quibble of mine you never get enough cord. Why do they do that? The instructions are simple and easy to use, clear and concise.

The manufacturers have clearly done their homework, this unit provides everything that you need to reassure yourself about the bubba. Now if only they could create machine that fed them and changed them at 2 am...

I received this monitor as a gift for the birth of my son, absolutely excellent!
At first I thought it was just so you can hear if the baby cries, but you even hear if the baby is moving and breathing as the sound quality is so clear. The monitor also plays music from lullabies to classical, you can even plug in your MP3 player, It has a night light, tells you the temperature of the room and gives you warnings if it's too hot or cold. The digital show that you use at night is an awesome feature; it covers all the area around the cot as well as the ceiling displaying shapes.
The good thing is all the features can be controlled by the handset and can be used at the same time or individually. It also has an excellent way of talking to your partner if they are upstairs with the baby and you are downstairs.

This is a must buy product for parents with a newborn!
