My baby girl loves dolls and I thought this would be the perfect doll for her. How wrong. The doll does not cry it just swings its arms and is too heavy and bulky for my daughter to carry. the doll is too wide for the other annabell accessories such as the pram and crib. I did however replace this doll for the version 5 one which is perfect. Zapt should not have tried to upgrade this already perfect doll! If its not broken...don't fix it!

I bought this for my daughter as shes 3 and just getting into dollys.We have bought other dolls in the past but they didnt seem to do very much and after seeing the adverts our daughter drove us nuts for one.I bought the doll off Amazon as they were the cheapest and it quickly arrived 2 days later.My daughter loves this doll and it does cry real tears.Ours does anyway.It states in the instructions to feed her water in the bottle provided and she will not cry every time, but only 1 in 3 times.To be honest its more like 1 in 20 times!My daughter takes great delight in making the doll cry just so she can see if cry real tears.The doll is the same as my friends baby Annabells dolls although this one does move where as the other ones just drink and move their face.Over all i think its a great little dolly for any little girl but i wish a decent toy didn't cost so much these days!

This doll looked amazing on the adverts! My little girl is 3 and was desperate for a doll to feed and cuddle. Well this isn't it! It's a nightmare to even get out of the box. It does make noises but they aren't any noises I've ever heard a baby make. To burp it you don't pat it's back as seen in ad you pull the bottle out of its mouth....well if you can get the bottle in there in the first place! It was really hard for me and she finds it impossible. As for it squirming, it's really stiff arms move a small amount. And if your child holds it wrong the arms get stuck at an odd angle. Don't waste your money on this awful doll!

I gave this doll to my grandaughter on Christmas day. She loved it but it didn't giggle, make sleep noises or respond the way it was supposed to so I asked for a replacement. The replacement came within a few days but still it didn't giggle etc. so I have sent it back too. My friends little girl has an earlier version of the doll which doesn't move it's arms but does everything else so I am going to look for that one. In the meantime my grandaughter is being very good about losing her much loved baby and I was tempted to let her keep it even though it didn't work properly but it should do what it says on the box!

bought for my daughters 5th birthday, opened the box and dolls arm fell out before she had even touched it. returned and replaced. 2nd doll lasted about 3 weeks before the arms stopped working and the doll constantly made a horrendous grinding noise. returned and replaced with a baby born. a much better quality of doll at a much better price! durning the 3 weeks we had the annabel doll we found that it was so awkward that the annabel didnt fit in any prams or pushchairs that we own (we have a few) and it also didnt fit into and of the baby annabel branded clothes. an ugly bulky, terrible doll. try and get the baby annabel version 5 or a baby born, much better dolls!

My 4yr old was desperate for this doll. I have read all the reviews and it does not come out favourably in the slightest. I ordered it for her, seeing as it had become half price. OK, the movements aren't great, she is a bit mishapen with big arms and quite heavy/bulky. Having said that, my 2 girls love her............They have laughed out loud when she burps, they love it when she moves and all in all I have never seen either of them give as much love to a doll, so well worth the money in the end.
By the way the regular baby annabell clothes DO fit this version 6, just bought 2 little outfits from argos and they fit fine.

My daughter (aged 5) had version 5 of baby Annabell and we bought Version 6 of the brother for Christmas, I wish we hadn't. She loves the doll but it's a much poorer quality than version 5. The suit is thinner, the toy makes no noise, the arms are so stiff she cannot put any clothes on her, the sound of crying is poor. The eyes are not activated by electronics just direction of lying down. I think Zap have really got to consider the quality of this product as they will be losing out to another more reliable, quality toy. I would no longer recommend this product.

the doll has never worked however packaging was discarded ,only reason it was not returned

AS I SAID IN THE TITLE THIS IS RUBYS BABY SHE CANNOT GO ANYWHERE WITHOUT HER,
ON CHRISTMAS DAY MY SON HAD TO PUT HER PRAM INTO THE CAR SIDEWAYS AND AS THEY WERE ON THE MOTORWAY SHE STARTED CRYING AND WOULD NOT STOP, HER BABY HAD FALLEN OUT, SHE LOVES HER.

I bought this for my granddaughter for Christmas she is 4 and loves dolls and she was very happy with it she still is the only thing I would say is its very hard to get the bottle in the dolls mouth but other than that a good doll expected it to do more for what paid for it though.
