This cat was a lot smaller than I expected, but I think that may have been my mistake. What clearly is not my mistake is the force with which the cat needs to be pushed in order to make it work. This requires much more than a light stroke and hence is not very conducive to my 2 1/2 yr old to pet and adore. I wouldn't want her to push hard on a live cat like that !The fur is not soft, it's very nylon and not cuddly. Even when my daughter does manage to push hard enough to make it work, it is very limited in its action/reaction. It walks only 2-3 steps before stopping,its meow is realistic and that's about all it does.Somewhat limited therefore. Overall I am really disappointed and she is totally uninterested in this toy. I thought it would be the hit of Christmas (she loves the bigger cat her cousin has), but it was a bit of a waste.

Our goddaughter adores this toy! It was received with great excitement and is now a firm favourite. Would heartily recommend.
