My daughter has just been given this for her 5th birthday present. It is something that needs to be done with a parent and needs internet access. Original manufacturers price is about £17 and I assume you are paying for the access code to their website because it comes with no instructions. I have just been trying to make a story online with my daughter and the serious lack of instructions in the box and rubbish instructions online are getting me down. I actually feel like throwing this product through the window and my daughter is suitably bored now because she is not able to help with anything. Concept is good but reality is shocking. In the box you get blank pieces of paper to print your story on, felt pens and colouring pencils - not much for the money, could get more from Poundland.

This product creates printed Disney scenes in black and white that you can colour in. The box says you can upload your child's photo into each scene which you can but the resulting character looks nothing like your photo, each page contains no text and no option to add your own. So what you get is the ability to print black and white Disney scenes. Sounds like a good deal ?

I got this as a Christmas present for my niece, thinking it was something she could spend hours on. Big disappointment when the code you need to access your personal site was missing. We spent hours trying to find a web site with help, or a phone number, nothing. Basically, a very big disappointment for a little girl/

This is mainly buying a code for creting own story(s) online and print it.But you get some blank white papers!!,some colur pens etc..if you can undertand how to do,then you will enjoy else just need to be spectator sitting besides mum or dad.

I purchased the Crayola Disney Princess Story Studio Craft kit for my 5 year granddaughter. However, when my daughter opened it she found that all of the instructions were in French which might have been absolutely fine if we were a Fench speaking nation. Now whilst I have retained my knowledge of schooldays French unfortunately this was not sufficient to translate. We managed to work it out in the end with sheer luck, however I think I would have preferred to know this prior to purchase.

My daughter was given this as a christmas present and we have not had a problem using the crayola studio. I wouldn't pay full price and the created princess of my daughter doesn't look that much like her but my 5 year old has had a lot of fun creating her princess, choosing the story, colouring in the pages and writing her own story - there is box on each page for the child to write their own story to match the pictures. Once you have the code you are not limited to just making 3 stories all you need is more paper and you can create as many as you like!
