Soft, durable and perfect for a doll artist like myself.

I am very impressed with this modelling wire. It appears black in the image, but is in fact a generic silver. Made no difference to me, but is worth noting just in case.
This wire is incredibly flexible and malleable. As a doll artist, I use the wire for poseable armatures, and I would recommend this over most others. It is soft and easy to work with, but hold up to a decent amount of bending before snapping. As a test, I always bend a single point back and forth until breaking point. Most wires of a similar type and size last 5-8 repeated bendings. This wire exceeded 20. This durability is crucial to my work, and is very pleasing.
It is worth noting that the softness of this wire means that it cannot hold up great weights. However, simply twisting two pieces together or even 3 makes it substantially stronger and suitable for larger projects.
I would recommend this wire for armatures for dolls or animation puppets, it's soft, easy to use, and wonderfully durable. I would not recommend it for weight bearing, or anything that puts pressure on the wire.
The wire is easy to cut with wire cutters, but as mentioned, repeated bending of the same spot can also work to cut it.
This is a very high quality wire and I strongly recommend it.
