2.0 out of 5 stars An interesting album but sometimes a bit boring
This album is very much not to my taste but some parties are hypnotic and expands the senses, very exciting. I stuck a track called Deep Sahara.
I think you have to be from North Africa to appreciate this superb production.

Just when you thought that Real World was getting a little bit too obscure, along comes this record, sung entirely in Fulani,to get your interest back in the culture clash that is world music, soundig very much like the excellent TinawirenAmassakoulImidiwan - Companions
this is an adventure in sound that sometimes verges on the self indulgent, there are three thirteen minute plus tracks that require further concentrated listening but given time and a few more listens things will become better.

Juldeh Camara.....Nyanaru,Vocals

2.0 out of 5 stars The music is nice, but the CD itself does not function well., 18 Nov. 2013

I do like the music, but the CD does not function well enough: song number 1 (out of seven) cannot be played, unfortunately there is something wrong with the CD. This explains my low rating.

What happened to Rock and Roll? Well, Justin Adams resurrected it in Africa with Juldeh Camera. This is an exceptional CD for anyone who really appreciates the TRUE SPIRIT of Rock and Roll that originated in West Africa....not Hollywood.
