4.0 out of 5 stars America's real masters?
Where Alan Hart's first volume of `Zionism: the Real Enemy of the Jews' dealt primarily with the history of how Israel came into existence, the second volume is about the evermore bellicose Israel's efforts to take over more and more Arab lands by trying to force war on its neighbours without appearing to be the war-monger but rather a tiny, defenceless victim of...

3.0 out of 5 stars Vitally important, but....
Only gave this one 3 stars as the authors writing abilities are fledgling quick and fast.....

The story is the story, we can't change the history of it. But the authors desire to keep hypothesis what other individuals were thinking or should have thought gets a bit tedious and throws you off somewhat. Just give us the facts and any new information...

Anyone interested in this never ending conflict should pick this up and hope vol 3 hits the target this time.

4.0 out of 5 stars America's real masters?, 11 Aug. 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Where Alan Hart's first volume of `Zionism: the Real Enemy of the Jews' dealt primarily with the history of how Israel came into existence, the second volume is about the evermore bellicose Israel's efforts to take over more and more Arab lands by trying to force war on its neighbours without appearing to be the war-monger but rather a tiny, defenceless victim of primitive, evil powers. Israel's aim, now, is to have a Greater Israel.

A goodly part of the book is dedicated to the Egyptian leader, Nasser, attempting to stay out of war while establishing a better rule and economy for Egypt: his aggressors, then, were France, Great Britain (by all accounts `Great' only in British imagination, by this time) and the ever-badgering, ever-meddling and ever-whining Israel, all of whom sought to thwart Nasser's efforts for their own private ends, but isn't that always the way?

The American presidential elections are also discussed, primarily that of President Kennedy, and the extraordinary influence of Zionist Lobbyists who, in spite of being American citizens, work - even now in 2012 - for a foreign power and against the best interests of all other American citizens, or to put it numerically, against 95% of the American population.

In spite of his endeavours to the contrary, even Kennedy had to succumb to this foreign (Israeli) pressure and, from his election, all his efforts to be even-handed in his Middle East policies were thwarted by the Israelis via their Zionist Lobbies in the States, with their usual blackmailing tactics (something Hart charmingly calls `chutzpah'), this time backed by the impending arrival of additional problems in the form of a much-denied but eventually discovered Atom bomb, the confirmation of whose existence we owe to a certain Vanunu, more than to anyone else. Vanunu has, by the way, spent most of his life in prison following his revelation and though his initial sentence of 18 years in solitary confinement has finished, he's harassed in continuation, arrested on any and every pretext so that he's in and out of prison even today, but that's another story.

By the end of the book one cannot but hark back to the assassination of President Kennedy who, in spite of all the pressure being put on him by Israel via the Zionist Lobbies, nonetheless continually pushed for peace in the Middle East, for the non-proliferation of the Atom bomb and for an American electoral system which might be more worthy of a democratic America. A really democratic America, one where its representatives are genuinely elected by a majority, for the good of that majority, and not bought by a minority for their own purposes - if it had ever come about, and it didn't - would have spelt disaster for Israel. Unable to blackmail or buy future presidential candidates or any other politicians, the Zionist Lobbies would have been emasculated and a chutzpah-less Israel would have been forced to become a law-abiding nation thus peace would have finally been restored to the Middle East.

Though Hart doesn't say this in so many words, the temptation to read between his lines remains and one cannot but remember that while the Mafia Connection and the Cuban Links and the Oil Magnate Ties to Kennedy's assassination were all busily inspected, no-one even dared look towards the Middle East and to those who really would have lost the most had Kennedy been permitted to live, and that, by the way, doesn't mean the Arabs. And yet we still don't know - officially - whodunit! But, if it looks like a duck, and it quacks like a duck then...etc. etc. etc.
