The product arrived promptly and in good condition. Upon opening the package I found that the product is the old Maximuscle stock not the new MaxiNutrition bars as advertised. Other than that issue the product is still good.

After contacting Amazon they promptly sent be a new box of the MaxiNutrition stock at no added cost.

iv never had a dodgy tummy before but these bars made me feel physically sick about an hour after eating them! no idea why, never had this problem with any sort of other protein before so cant understand why these bars have that effect but its to the point i feel as though im going to throw up :s taste wise theyre quite nice, slightly dryer than the maximuscle promax meal bars tho but still pleasant to eat (untill an hour after when im pale and feel horrendous!) iv read past reviews that other people have had this aswell so not just me. i tend to do my gym training on the evenings once the kids are asleep and used to come back at 8pmish and have a bar but obv with the high caffeine content i cant do that with these. will defiantly be sticking with the promax meal bars in future, only VERY slight difference in cals/fat/carbs too. best thing to do is just buy one and give it a try instead of the box like i stupidly did n see if you get the sicky effect too!

I really loved the taste of chocolate mint and the bar is soft unlike other bar that are difficult to chew.

The most disgusting protein bars ever (and I have tried many). They are tasteless and have a nasty super chewy consistency; once you take a bite you're committed, desperately trying to force it down without throwing up. I've been trying to get through the whole box, but I'm struggling, sometimes I just can't face it.

I ordered a few boxes of this but was sent old stock of Maximuscle bars (despite being clearly listen and shown in images as the new bars) with a short best before date of October. In fact the ones I ordered do not even seem to have CAFFEINE in, they're totally different.

I'm no dietician just know what I like. Have had lots of bars of all descriptions in the past. Love these bars and also the cookie version (not caffeinated). I work my breaks at work to go home earlier. This replaces a mid morning snack and coffee... You definitely don't need a coffee with this bar unless you want to be peeled from the ceiling... Caffeine to me feels like a strong coffee.

This is a nice minty snack that is also nice chilled. Unlike some bars it is not a jaw exercise eating it or do you need to tell yourself half way through it is helping you meet a goal and switch off your taste buds.

To summarise tastes good, good protein to calories and added kick of caffeine. Beats the pants off getting a shaker out at work and having to listen to someone tell you 'they used to have a six pack!'

Can you lose weight just by adding these bars to your diet? Of course not. You need to exercise and make sure you have a good diet, and are buring more calories than you eat (no crash dieting though, you just end up putting it all back on, and usually some extra you didn't have before). These bars can form a really useful part of a sensible diet/exercise regime. They aren't the best tasting bars of food, but you do get used to them, and I've found them helpful in achieving my fitness and weight loss goals. Worth trying!

the product speaks for itself and i find it a useful way to get extra protein. Amazons subscribe & save price is great ( we get a monthly delivery of two boxes) but all the bars i have received in the last six months have all been rock hard. The products are all in date , but usually only by a couple of months- perhaps this is why. When bought from a healthfood shop ( for example) the bars are softer and chewy and definitely the best tasting protein bar out there- however the amazon provided one are a bit of a jawbreaker and gnaw through them to get the nutrition- certainly not for the taste! Price really is excellent though otherwise i would cancel and get elsewhere

I've been trying to lose weight over the past 14 months, but the one thing that has always made my cutting all the more harder was my snacking. I would eat a good breakfast and lunch, then throw it all away with bad snacks in the evening. I started trying these to curb my apatite for chocolate/sugar - what a treat this was.

I've tried the Choc/Mint, it wasn't to my liking. I then tried the plain chocolate one, it was perfect. I finally found a snack that would stop me eating the sugary/fat snacks that had thwarted my goal.

Would really recommend to those who, like me, have an addiction to chocolate, but would like to lose weight.

Far from a natural product. Not an ideal meal replacement as if you eat more than a couple a day you're taking in all that artificial sweetener and other chemicals. Won't be ordering again.
