Although not all the music on this album is sufficiently well known to enable the listener to cringe from its familiarity, it is nevertheless painfully amusing and entertaining. Jonathan and Darlene Edwards have produced a masterpiece of discomfort here. I played this in the background when some friends came round a while ago and after a time their quizzical looks at each other spoke volumes. Clearly they didn't quite believe it was real, but they were reluctant to say anything. They were palpably relieved when they read the sleeve notes.
