Very easy to use. This was the first and only cbr i'll likely ever need for my kindle fire hd. Nice UI, very intuitive and highly recommended

recommended for comics lovers. The dropbox functionality is very useful when on the go. Could not be simpler to use.

Having in the 1970s been a prolific writer of scripts for DC Thomson's comics and being a keen advocate of the genre in its continuing metamorphoses, I was interested in stumbling across this app, which has made it possible for me to read both archived published copies of my own work and examples from various publishers, both in the UK and USA, using my Kindle Fire HD.

The app makes it possible to view icons of the different publications on file, load a specific one, set a suitable screen size by pinching to zoom and read through a comic from page to page via a touch of the screen.

The app supports all popular comic formats and auto scans the device for examples already stored there. There are variable orientation options and multiple viewing modes.

From my personal viewpoint this has proved to be a real treasure of an app, which has enabled me to store, access and appreciate my archived material in a way that also makes excellent use of current technology.

I found this software amazing putting my collection on my kindle was very easy and the layout of all the comics is awesome, you can make it alphabetical ect. However like my title says one feature bugged the hell out of me, when your reading your comic very often you will press to slide to next page and instead you change the page view and you have to press like 5 times to get back to the original and even doing this can mean you can skip pages. This has happened hundreds of times and is incredibly irritating!!!! If this didn't happen I would easily give this 5 stars... Why? why did you do this? worst feature ever...

This is so much of an improvement over the default kindle app which wont even rotate to landscape view!. The reason it wasn't a full five star is that I don't seem to be able to open comics b ought from the kindle store with this app and it would be great if there were some way of getting each panel to fit the entire screen so as when you swipe or tap next you go from one picture to the next, probably impossible to implement though so I am being mean only giving it a four out of five, its that good I'm feeling guilty about not awarding it full marks, comparatively the default app is a one star and the Comixology is a two and a half.

I bought this as soon as I got my kindle fire HD after looking for a cbr reader. It turned out to be the best £2.49 I have ever spent. It's simple to use, it tracks where you are, it highlights what has been read, is being read and what hasn't and best of all its full screen with pinch and tap zoom! If you need a cbr reader (also reads many other formats) then comicat is the only program you'll need. I have used many others but this is EASILY the best!

works really well on my kindle fire hd and the colours are vibrant! my only concern with the app is page turning isnt as smooth compared to kindle's reading software, but otherwise well worth every penny

Good app for kindle fire.

Only flaw. Puts comics numbered 100 and up with comics numbered 10 and on.
Sequence goes: 8:9:10;101:102:
Otherwise simple and well structured.

This app does exactly what it is supposed to, and it does it well. It opens .cbz and .cbr files which the kindle doesn't support unless you have this app. You are given lots of options to change settings to your preferences and it is very simple to use. If you have a digital comic collection that you want to read on your kindle, look no further. All you have to do is plug in your kindle to your computer, drag and drop your comics into the "documents" folder, then you can read them using this app which automatically searches for all compatible files. Highly recommend it.
