5.0 out of 5 stars fantastic!
I've seen multiple sellers list this item on amazon and was a little concerned about some of the poor reviews i've found about this product elsewhere on the site.
But i wanted to write and say how pleased i am with this seat.
to be honest, my daugther is a bit of a chunkey little thing and i was concerned she might not fit, being nearly 6 months...

3.0 out of 5 stars does the job
lovely seat which works perfectly but i cannot get the toy to fit on. It doesnt look complete without the toy & there is a slighlty sharp bit of plastic where the toy should be.

5.0 out of 5 stars simple and easy to use,
This review is from: Safety 1st Swivel Bath Seat (Pastel) (Baby Product)This one is quite good. I like suction pads they are strong to hold the seat in place but when need to remove from bath it comes off very easy.
5.0 out of 5 stars Bath Seat,
This review is from: Safety 1st Swivel Bath Seat (Pastel) (Baby Product)Exactly as it says on the box though my 6 month old is still a bit too small for it!
Will try again in a few months time..great product
5.0 out of 5 stars Great for transition from baby baths to sitting,
This review is from: Safety 1st Swivel Bath Seat (Pastel) (Baby Product)Really sturdy, well designed seat that fits securely into the bath. Great suction pads with easy release. Recommended. Ideal for that period where baby is too big for baby baths but not able to sit upright well enough in the bath.
4.0 out of 5 stars really helpful for bath!,
This review is from: Safety 1st Swivel Bath Seat (Pastel) (Baby Product)it s a really great product for babies bath, as it takes a really small place to store it and it s really safe
I would rather prefer it a bit larger as my sun is 11 kilos and it s already a bit difficult for him to fit
4.0 out of 5 stars recommended,
This review is from: Safety 1st Swivel Bath Seat (Pastel) (Baby Product)My 7month old loves bath time. it swivels, but she sits quite securely, the suckers keep the unit well anchored in the bath, and the pulling release action is easy to work. the unit is easy to keep clean.
2.0 out of 5 stars Needs solid improvement...,
This review is from: Safety 1st Swivel Bath Seat (Pastel) (Baby Product)I bought it for my 6 month old. The plastic is very bad, on the bottom of the top part there are holes and the baby keeps kicking the plastic when sitting, so little legs get red and bruise. The silicone legs which stick to the bath smell very bad, plus the baby is sliding inside when tries to move.. used it very carefully 3 times and then purchase non-slippery mat, which is much better!
4.0 out of 5 stars Granddaughter loves it!,
This review is from: Safety 1st Swivel Bath Seat (Pastel) (Baby Product)Great idea and a big help for my daughter at bathtime. This seat means the 7 month old is supported and can easily have a longer bath with her older brother instead of trying to wriggle out of mum's arms.
1.0 out of 5 stars Buy this if you want a danger-filled bath time!,
This review is from: Safety 1st Swivel Bath Seat (Pastel) (Baby Product)We brought this bath seat on the reccomendation of out family nurse and family members who have previously brought the same seat, Little did we realise that the 6 month+ age rating was complete twaddle! and thats putting it politely!
Our family nurse told us that as our Little One was now sitting up compitantly and for long periods it would be a good idea to get a new bath seat to keep her safe at bath times, so we asked around family and friends who have children and the said the Safety First bath seat would be a great choice for the situation we are in as I would be bathing my child alone. So after getting it promptly from amazon we tried it out and it was great! For the first few times!
The box shows a happy child sitting in the bath having fun, WITHOUT having to be held up by a parent! My Little girl kept sliding forward in this seat as it does tend to slope at the front so her legs and tummy were marked from the plastic and she would slump in the chair to get comfortable as this is very hard plastic, we thought we could live with this and it would be different as she grew etc so we popped a littlw towel in there with her to fill in the gaps so to speak (this created the problem of actually cleaning her as we would have to mave this to get at anything!
the second time we used this seat she was proped up nicely as we did the first time and she was still getting marks on her legs but what really shocked me; and when I say shocked I mean my heart was in my mouth, was that when I took my hand off of her to clean her (thinking that the chair would be suitable to hold her whilst i washed her - a reasonable request) she slid over to one side and got her shoulder stuck under the side of the chair!
Traumatic for me and very traumatic for her - after 40 minutes of crying she calmed down and went to sleep but ended up with a huge bruise on her shoulder where the seat locked her into place!
This chair is certainly not suitable for 6 month old children, whether they can sit well or not, I wouldnt use it for any child of any age and after talking to my friends and family about this they all confirmed they had had similar problems but just chose to get on with it and make the best of what they had clearly wasted their money on!
In conclusion - The seat has an unnessesary slope to the seat causing the child to slump and sit right againsy the front of the chair - The top bar of the seat is too high and to wide around any child, this means they will be trapped under it if they slide to the side - The suckers are just appauling, my daughter who is a whisp of a thing at 8 months old could push her feet along the bath and move the seat!
The only redeeming feature of this product is the cute liuttle seahorse toy on the front which we took off and she now plays with seperately in her new, properly designed chair!
Maybe its true that you get what you pay for, good value for money means pay more for the safe experience!
5.0 out of 5 stars perfect seat for little ones,
This review is from: Safety 1st Swivel Bath Seat (Pastel) (Baby Product)This has been a blessing in disguise - keeps the little one safe and is fun for them too. I have a back problem so this has been a fantastic for supporting the little one whilst he plays in the bath. Would highly recommend
4.0 out of 5 stars Good Buy,
This review is from: Safety 1st Swivel Bath Seat (Pastel) (Baby Product)I usually bath my baby along with my toddler. This seat allows me to keep baby safe and my hands free at the same time. I would recommend for babies who can sit up unaided although it also supports baby when she lies back too. A great product.
