i had bleached my dark brown hair to a light blonde before applying this colour. i left the pink on for over an hour to make sure it worked, however the change was barely noticeable. the colour of the dye is very pale so i think hair would have to be bleached white before using it.
however good points are that it is very easy to apply! it has a gel-like consistency so doesn't run all over the place.
although it didn't work this time i will use it again once i have lightened my hair to a white colour.

If you want temporary dye then Directions is a good choice. Manic Panic is much longer lasting and double the price. If you're going to be changing colours often then I'd recommend buying Directions over any other dyes on the market.

The title basically says it all... It'd be lovely but it's not pastel pink and if you don't have your hair bleached, you won't even notice it.
to get that pastel pink you'll probably have to mix half of this and half of the carnation pink one... I guess! I'll try that next!

This is ok. You can achieve a nice candy/bubblegum pink colour but it's gone within 3 washes. Also you've really got to apply it properly as you can get sections that don't take as well other if you don't use the applicator brush. I've got white hair so I doubt this would work on anything else but for the cost it's worth a punt.

i read all of the reviews before i bought this and i was expecting it to be quite good. First of all it smells really bad and there is not a lot in the tub. Then when i put it on my hair it didn't spread well. I did it on dry hair and left it for a good 25 minutes but when i washed it out it had done nothing apart from made it streaky and before hand my hair was a very light blonde. Do not recommend it.

If you want bright pink hair I suggest getting a darker colour as this could ahrdly be seen on my blonde hair. Also if you want it to last a long time leave it on for a few hours not the suggested 30 minutes.

I recently bought this product with a lilac colour and mixed the two together so i could get the exact colour I want, however after following exactly what the instructions said and covering all the ends of my hair I was left with very pale patch dip dye. It looked like I had died my hair several weeks ago. Would not buy this again. Hope this helps, may have been because I have highlighted hair (however my hair is mostly white/blonde)

You do need very light hair but i used this on bleached nearly white hair and it was a lovely frosted pink colour. It lasted two weeks exactly and was all gone by the time i went to work after the christmas holidays. A very good product for a temporary change that doesn't permanently stain.

Although the product turned up within a reasonable amount of time I was incredibly disappointed with it. This dye did not change my hair colour in the slightest and I have blonde hair, a colour which is very susceptible to nearly all hair dye colours. Would not reccomend this to anyone.

i have used this hair dye for ages and its gotten negitive reviews on here you do need very pale hair i would say one shade off white blonde atleast white blonde if posible and leve it on aslong as posible and its a pale pink very pale but thats the colour its ment to be if you want a stronger colour get the flimingo pink and add a tiney amount to this colour and i mean the tineys amount and it will add alot of pigmint to it hope this helped! been dyeing my hair with theys things for a bit over 3years
