5.0 out of 5 stars Solid, 8 Jan 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: The Warriors (MP3 Download)
As the title suggests a solid album full of what I have come to expect from Stanton Warriors. Epic baselines throughout (a sub woofer is a must) with some great pace mix up throughout the album.
If you like a few of the well known tracks and your dithering on buying the album all I can say is commit, you won't regret it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing - you have to buy this - one of the best albums of the last decade!, 15 April 2011
This review is from: The Warriors (Audio CD)
I first saw Stanton Warriors on MTV with the video for Get Up.

Absolutely loved the track and thought I would check out the album.

I wasn't disappointed.

This is easily the best album of the year so far. If not the decade.

They provide a brilliant alternative to the likes of The Chemical Brothers, Orbital, Apollo 440 and the Crystal Method to name but a few but are original in their own right.

With beats that stay in your head for a long time after the CD ends, that's if you want to turn it off, but hell we all need to sleep!

With each listen there is something more that you missed.

There is not one weak track on this album.

Some brilliant guest artists.

The first track Get Up - has a sample of the theme to John Carpenter's Assault on Precinct 13, which in itself is a great tune, but here its mixed brilliantly.

There are quirks from The Warriors film, as well as Bodywork being a reworking from the film Breakdance the Movie.

I cannot praise this album enough.

Go buy it!

You will not be disappointed.

This is an album of Stanton Warriors own creations, not a mix tape, and it is truly fantastic. Such good music and original sounds; well worth waiting for and worth a purchase.
