Unkle have hit hard again with their latest album 'Where Did the Night Fall' and this double CD special edition is an essential go-to.
I already bought the Where Did the Night Fall album so was only getting one CD of new music for my money but the purchase was not regretted at all.
The second CD, Another Night out is as eclectic and hard hitting as all of Unkles previous work. Some of the tracks, the Nick Cave vocalised Money and Run is a bit weird, feels like a forced effort at quirky Americana which just doesn't quite sit well together. However, you then hit a raw, Unkle track with no vocals called Not a Sound and you will, literally, sit back breathless as you absorb the reverbrating notes of the guitar which never quite die out before the next chords are struck. A beautiful piece of music which puts me in mind of the soundtrack for Sunshine (the Danny Boyle movie).
As for the original album, there are some standouts on there that require repeated listening, 'The Answer' is just amazing, and 'Another Night Out' will have you sailing through Sunday morning blues with appreciation that you survived another weekend.
I think that the original album is slightly the stronger of the two but this is an essential Unkle purchase that will leave you dizzy with the possibilities of music.
This is a soundtrack to live your life by.

Fantastic album with numerous catchy tracks great featured artists and some outstanding vocals that will stick in your head. Will not disappoint if you like a varied mix of a few music genres indie-pop soft rock. Great find haven't stop playing it - highly recommended.

I hav "where did the night fall" & that is a true album, filled with amazing songs back to back. this is all about disc 2 though.
This just feels like the continuation of that with even more great uplifting mellow ambient beauty.
If you are yet to listen to "UNKLE" this would make an awesome start.
You won't be dissapointed

Very attractive sounds, warm and strange atmosphere; pleasant contacts with inner delicate entities; thought heart - felt brain sort of expression. Strong but/and velvety melodies.
