Bought this to replace my aging nokia 1100. simple to use but fully featured really impressed.Lovely clear screen and graphics which can be user configured.Battrey life is very good and has the new compact charger which is a bonus.mp3 player is excellent especially with 32gb mini sd card, just the job for listening to your music through portable speaker on your hols. Even the radio works but the supplied headphones are poor much better sound quality through my own set so it's the headphones and not the phone. Camera is low image quality but works well enough.Two things that did catch me out was that you can't send picture messages unless you insert a mini sd card. You need to buy a data cable to connect the phone to your pc and turn the phone off and then on to establish connection. Much faster and easier than to transfer music and pics than blue tooth.

Bought this as a replacement phone for my son who seems to get through phones more often than he has a bath. It's a good phone wilth all the basics on it, an ok camera and a good battery life. It does though just feel a bit light and plasticky and hasn't got the heft of a more expensive model - but hey you get what you pay for and for the price this is cracking value.

The phone is good and easy to use.... No problems at all...
Recommend if you just want a basic phone that does everthing you need.

Got this phone for my mums birthday she's bit of a technophobe so nothing to fancy but definately does the job, great battery life too.

Great product. It performs exactly as per description. I did think that the battery would last a little longer as mentioned in other reviews but maybe they didn't keep it switched on 24 x 7 as I do.

I love the simplicity of the phone and is just perfect for my use which is for texting mainly.

This is an excellent phone for general texting and calls. You also have internet access via the Nokia browser "Opera mini" which is very effective. The screen is bright and clear at 1.8" and the sound from the internal speaker is good. The loudspeaker sound is not as good as my Nokia 6030 that I've had for 5 years or so but the internal earpiece sound is good. Everything is classic Nokia... the menus are easy to follow through and there are the usual Nokia additions. The phone is very lightweight.
There are a range of tones on board plus a voice recorder and a camera... video too but these are limited by the 1.3 megapixels... very useful nevertheless. It has an alarm clock and a stopwatch plus a countdown timer and the usual calender and calculator. Calling and texting though are where this phone scores with internet access a real bonus.The battery life is very good for general use but of course if you access the internet, do recordings, take photos/videos a lot it'll gobble up the juice! It's a great little phone either as a backup or your main phone. The keypad is fine... thumbnail works well on this type! Nokia candy bars are in a class of their own. Buy this one if you want a superb calling and texting phone with an excellent easy to understand screen and very good battery life. Top phone.... Battery lasted 9 days with a few short calls, several texts, some light internet use [20 minutes or so] the odd game [20 minutes]... just to give you an idea. With no internet use this would be a lot more than the 9 days. I've just ordered the new Nokia 100 as backup... this phone [Nokia 100] really is just a call and text phone with apparently a very long battery life... I'll review that one after a few weeks use.In the meantime I highly recommend the Nokia C1-01. Cheers, Z
Update: The handsfree loudspeaker whilst acceptable [just] is not too good. It's a real shame as this is a definite let down on a really good phone. The internal earpiece speaker is much better and can at times be used as handsfree ie when sat in bed receiving a call or calling top up!!!

I find this phone to be a good reliable basic phone with a camera for the more mature person with simplicity in mind.

It is a nice little basic phone that does everything I need it to. The camera quality is not bad for the price. Easy to set up and use. Perfect for my needs.

Very please with the Nokia C1-01 Mobile. Very user friendly, ideal for anyone who needs just a basic phone. I have always bought Nokia phones so this was a good choice for me.

If you want a basic phone to make calls and send the occasional text with good battery performance. Look no further. This phone fits the bill.
