For as long as I can remember, both Arthur and Arthur 2: On The Rocks have been two of my favourite films. Dudley Moore was the perfect choice for the main role and this year, 30 years after the first film came out, I still enjoy them as much, if not much more, than anything released today.

Following the massive success that was Arthur [DVD], Arthur 2: On The Rocks struggled at the box office and Dudley Moore ended up disowning it.

This really saddens me because I enjoy both the films equally and I feel lucky that I get to see Dudley Moore as Arthur for a second time. He brought that same sense of comedy, likability and warmth to the character and the film as he did in the original and I can't imagine having Arthur [DVD] without Arthur 2: On The Rocks.

So I genuinely hope that someone got to tell the great Dudley Moore that they enjoyed Arthur 2: On The Rocks as much as I have before he sadly passed away in 2002.

I'd recommend both this and Arthur [DVD] to anyone, most especially to those that have seen the 2011 Remake and didn't enjoy it for whatever reason.

In my opinion, to experience Arthur, you need Dudley Moore and Liza Minnelli and they pulled it off in 80s style that, for me, is still as appealing now as it was then.

No need for lots of words when just a few will do.
Hilarious, Excellent, Superb, Marvellous. A must see movie for anyone. Only people that have had their sense of humour surgically removed will find this movie dull. You cannot help but scream with laughter at one of the finest movies by the one and only Dudley Moore. Five Stars is selling this movie short. Compared to many recent five star movies, this deserves 10 **********

Always am slightly worried when it comes to a sequel because they rarely seem to be as good as the original I mean look at Shreck the first was a laugh but the rest are rubbish but back to this film in my opinion i enjoyed it just as much as the first, it had some amusing twists but was literally a laugh out loud film about a man who is insanely rich who loses it all and tries to grow up and even though you know the ending before the you hit 15 minutes in its just a film you want to watch because it won't be boring because Dudley Moore is a hero of comedy I do wonder if he actually got drunk on set because I was convinced but all in all 10/10 superb film well worth the money and definitely in my comedy top 5 along with the original Arthur.

Extremely funny and although the film is dated as you would expect it has lost none of its originality. First cvlass valuie.

I simply love both of these movies, and I already have recieved the first of them, WITH danish subtitles, but the second of them does not have danish subtitles, YET. I wish that more of the movies from Amazon would have danish subtitles, because I for one, love many of the old classical movies, that I seldom can find in Denmark, but can buy from Amazon, but usually only with english subtitles.

Arthur 2 on the rocks is not as funny as the first film, but I still enjoyed it. Arthur is more embarrasing as a drunk, than funny in this film, but Dudley Moore is still a joy to watch. An average late 80's film revisiting the classic original 'Arthur' film, but not quite capturing the magic of the first.

This is one of my all time fav movies from when I was a kid as well as with Arthur 1 of course. Dudley Moore is so funny and perfect as the drunken billionaire turned poor man and Liza shines as his wife who loves him just as he is. It's a great family movie with laughs for all well worth seeing.

These 2 DVDs were a present for my daughter's parents-in-law, and they told us on the phone yesterday that they enjoyed watching them.
Apparently, the DVDs were in excellent condition and they encountered no problems viewing them.
