4.0 out of 5 stars Nice tie-up
This is the third and final book in the Cherokee Point trilogy, a fitting end to the set, It quickle narrows into a handful of suspects to the killings but keeps you guessing. If you love Beverly Bartons books and the character relationships and how they dip into each others stories you will like this. Strangely there is a huge number of typos and americanised spellings...

3.0 out of 5 stars be careful you might have read this already
I was reading the blurb for If Looks Could Kill and was excited to think that I was about to be able to buy yet another book by an author I loved.
Once I started to read it, I began to realise I had already read it, but how was this so? because the book was not due out for another few months. So I did a bit of searching saw that there was a kinlde link for the book...

I was reading the blurb for If Looks Could Kill and was excited to think that I was about to be able to buy yet another book by an author I loved.
Once I started to read it, I began to realise I had already read it, but how was this so? because the book was not due out for another few months. So I did a bit of searching saw that there was a kinlde link for the book. So I clicked on that so that I could send myself a sample of the book to see if I had really read it. Only when I clicked on the kindle link it too me to what seemed to be a new book, but was infact the same book but with a different name.
As Good as Dead (Zebra Romantic Suspense) would seem to be the smae book.

The book itself was the usual book which you get to expect from Barton. A love story vs a murder theme. Still captivating and a good read if you haven't already done so.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fast paced and thrilling!, 2 Jan 2012
This review is from: If Looks Could Kill (Kindle Edition)
I read my first Beverly Barton books back at the start of 2011 and was hooked with both of them, got my first Kindle for Christmas and purchased the ebook quickly.. it did not disappoint! Barton is a great writer who manages to capture the reader and bring them straight into the book. A definite page turner that had many twists along the way, keeping the reader guessing as to what was happening. I don't like to give too much away but with a strong plot, great characters and many sub-plots happening, this is definitely one to recommend and one I shall read again. Definitely up there with the likes of Reichs, Slaughter and Gerritsen.

Beverly Barton never fails to provide in my reading experiences. I have always enjoyed her thrillers and am not at all wary of buying them. I am an avid reader and will read most thrillers that i can acquire be it in essence or in ebook form (this purchase). Yet again another well thought out and entertaining book. The only thing i find annoying is that I normally pass my thrillers on to family/friends and with more and more people buying ebooks thats not possible but hey, im as guilty.

I can't believe I actually finished this tacky pile of rubbish
This is the second Beverly Barton book I have read with the same
characters, and I'm never going back there again.

Mind numbingly boring plot, and I lost interest reading
how much Reveand Jacob disliked each other. Did
not see the point of the descriptive sex scenes they didn't add
anything to the story. I noted that every man in the book was over
six foot tall, powerfully built with thrusting thighs and a glint in
their eyes, I must try booking a holiday there myself.

Will definitely not be reading Beverly Barton again.
