This review is from: Wicked in Your Arms: Forgotten Princesses (Kindle Edition)
The title is a bit misleading, as it has nothing to do with lost princesses. However, the story is lovely.

Grier Hadley was born on the wrong side of the blanket to a gambling hell owner. She and one of her half sisters have been sponsored by the Dowager Duchess of Bolingbroke, who has three unmarried sons and no money, so need to marry heiresses. Prince Sevastian of Maldania has come to England following a civil war to find a rich bride who can help rebuild the kingdom.

Grier Hadley first attracts his attention at a ball when she overhears him insulting her origins and pours water all over him. However, he can't help kissing her after she unwittingly foils his tryst with another married guest. They are both subsequently invited to a house party where further arguments and kisses ensue.

The story moves at a good pace; there is a bit of action towards the end of the book, a rather unexpected twist, but the books is mainly taken up by the two characters learning about each other, and having to amend their first bad impressions. However, Grier is entirely unsuitable to be a princess or a queen, and Sevastian has a hard choice to make.

A most enjoyable book.
