5.0 out of 5 stars A good read
This is a great read written by Harry Keeble and seeing real life situations, yes not always "nice situations", through the eyes of the agencies involved. It makes you realise how overworked these departments are and perhaps you can understand how some things get "overlooked". This is the second book I've read by Harry and the best so far. This is a great read written by Harry Keeble and seeing real life situations, yes not always "nice situations", through the eyes of the agencies involved. It makes you realise how overworked these departments are and perhaps you can understand how some things get "overlooked". This is the second book I've read by Harry and the best so far. Each chapter is just the right size and it's nice how he goes back over some cases that have moved on, albeit not always with a happy outcome.

5.0 out of 5 stars One of the best books I've read, 14 Dec 2011
This review is from: Little Victim: The real story of Britain's vulnerable children and the people who rescue them (Kindle Edition)
I stayed up for literally 3 days solid reading this book....It was heartbreaking to read, but informative and honest. It certainly opened my eyes to the child protection world. I can't wait for more from the author from his time in Child Protection.

5.0 out of 5 stars Heart moving..., 8 Nov 2011
I couldnt keep this book down till I finished it... This book opens your eyes to what can happen to children of such age and in a way helps you to be more vigilant about things happening around you. Also I got to know the role of social services in such kids life's and what all they have to go through and the way the handle these situations...

Heart moving realities of life...

5.0 out of 5 stars The best yet from Harry Keeble, 13 Feb 2011
A great book by Harry Keeble that goes through a number of dramatic cases of child abuse that he undertook whilst working Child protection. A disturbing read in some parts but also uplifting. Very well written and good content also. This is the best book Harry has written so far.

I thought this book was brilliant. I like the fact it is about how the police handle child abuse and how they stay professional when hearing horrific stories told by the victims.

Love Harry Keeble, reading his books makes me want to go join Child Protection or become a social worker. Really interesting stories, if not a little heart breaking. Can't put his books down!
