I downloaded this to get a further taste of the author after reading Catching Caroline. Wow! Its such a sexy story & would highly recommend if you like your romance with some seriously hot one on one business too ;) Yes there is some language, but i personally dont mind it if its in context & felt it added to the scenes. And, just a note, when reading this make sure you have a fan or something to cool you down too lol

This is a historical romance and quite a nice one at that. It's shorter than a full-length novel but there's plenty to like.

The story follows Lucien as he he tries to find a way to keep Julienne in his life. She's high born but drowning in debt thanks to her gambling addicted brother, whereas he is born out of wedlock and filthy rich from building up his own business.

The characters are written well-enough that you care about whether they find a way to be together or not and there's plenty of passion between them.

If you like historical romance, this is worth a look. It's a nice escape for a few hours reading.
** Be warned though- this book features the c-word on a couple of occasions, so if that offends you, this probably isn't for you. It took me a bit by surprise, and the couple of uses were about my limit.

Kindle edition: I only noticed one error and there weren't any formatting problems so go ahead and download :)

Lady Julienne La Coeur is attracting would be suitors but her personal situation is more complex with a reckless brother, Lord Hugh Montrose, who has recklessly accrued gambling debts he can't pay off, so whoever marries Lady Julienne will become responsible. It looks like the coast is clear for the clear front runner Lord Fontaine until Lady Julienne dresses up as a man to see if she can locate her brother in the gentleman's club owned by notorious rake Lucien Rimmington. Suddenly Lord Fontaine has a rival, so who will win? Good read as to how the angelic Lady Julienne has Lucien drooling. Loved it.

This shortish story is easily read in an hour or so but is lively and fun. And it's free to download! What's not to like? I look forward to reading more from this author.
