Another most powerful, violent season. Divisions between biker boss Clay and stepson Jax, though, are put to one side - they united in their quest to track down abducted baby Abel. Movingly rival gangs co-operate. All have their own code of conduct - snatching of a child crossing the line.

Action thus moves to Ireland, where duplicity reigns - everybody encountered seemingly with hidden agendas....

As before, strengths include fine scripts and impressive acting - Ron Perlman, Charlie Hunnam and Katey Sagal heading a great cast (which this time includes James Cosmo as a priest not to be trusted).

Some may feel the baby abduction storyline does not really convince and the Irish connection suffers from some dodgy accents. Such reservations are minor compared with the riches, not least a great climax with awesome twists coming fast and furious.

Interesting bonuses include the scriptwriters discussing their craft. (Apparently one character in Season 1 so impressed he was not killed off at its end as originally intended.)

All is set now for Season 4, startling family secrets surely guaranteeing a return of Clay-Jax hostilities.

Recommended.

oh my good god OMG big time!

This was the best out of all 3 seasons, Im off to start watching 4 soon.
It was so good, the ending was amazing, I had to watch the whole episode again, it was flipping fantastic

I have to worry about myself because even at work I'm thinking about the sons of anarchy almost as if I think I'm part of the family lol lol
It keeps you on your toes through out and most of the time I wanted to either slap Gemma (the mother) or shake her and tell her stop flippn meddling, just sit and do nothing lol, her busy body actions were causing me stresss lol, omg I think I need counselling, i'm forgetting this is a show and not real lol, I love jacks omg, what a alpha mans man lol.

I know nothing about bikers and I wonder are clubs really like this, omg.... maybe I need a biker in my life to give me entertainment lol
the BEST EPISODE of all 3 seasons, the very best... amazing!! If you have watched seasons 1 and 2 and get to know the perrsonalitlies of each person then this is the explosive episode you don't want to miss.

I watched the last 8 episodes of sons of anarcy season 3 back to back, is that sad??? lol lol lol

sons of anarchy is simply amazing. after seeing this most fans do want to be part of a 1 percenter!!!!!! i think soa is just of those rare shows that can totally engross me in the story. The mix of drama and crime and thriller. soa is one of those shows (like the wire) where you go wtf that's crazy and i can't believe that just happened!!!! i love the sense of comradery, respect, honor
and family that the gang has between them. full of twists and suspense, you never know whats going to happen and where it will lead too. the only disappointment that i found with sons of anarchy is season 3, it was good but nothing like the seasons before or after.
the cast are great- jax played brillantly by charlie hunnan (the ruthless, loyal, brave and brutal anti hero of the gang) to katey sagal who plays gemma (the manipulative, strong matriarch of the family) and clay morrow played by ron perlman ( the cold, calculating ambitious clay) who is the president of sons of anarchy. Another fan favourite- opie ( the tough hulk of a man who places loyalty high in the club). i can go all day with the characters.
JUST BUY IT!!!!!!! can't wait for season 6

After the brilliantly watchable season 1 and 2 this 3rd series was poor and very disappointing.

The whole irish slant was very far fetched and I got the impression that the cast were not convinced either with a very low key Ron Perlman who is normally really up front in the show.

The storyline of gang visiting Northern Ireland to rescue the main characters baby was so unbelievable it was a bit cringeworthy. I stuck with it though and will still go for season 4 next.

After season 1 5 stars and season 2 5 stars, sadly this only gets 2 in my book.

Well Mr. Sutter you have done it again! The plot was fantastic, the characters epic and each episode left me wanting more. This is the best show I have ever seen. I hope that you carry on Mr. Sutter for years to come and that we see more seasons in the pipeline. If you haven't seen the first two then get them end of. The blu-ray set is also fantastic and really does the program justice, looking forward to pre-ordering season 4!

The storlines and the acting were, as in all other seasons, fantastic. The only thing i ddn't like was the terrible 'Irish' accents - made me and I imagine the majority of Irish people watching, cringe - most notably JimmyO!!
the finale was fantastic and especially liked the final song Hey Hey My My!!

Season 3 absolutely brill ---lots of talk about accents and Northern ireland setting get over it people " suspension of belief please" cast as usual brilliant no stone left unturned -- no small character left languishing in the background , all given a chance and story line expanded. Picks up where 2 left off Jak looking for Able and the crew right behind him in the pursuit travelling to Belfast to link up with the Norths chapter of Samcro. Between Dodgy RIRA characters and Priests as terrorists they finally get him back and exact revenge ala CORLEONE STYLE on all the families enemies. It drags u along with great pacing and as I already said stellar acting allround --Ron Perlman, charlie Hunnam and Kathy Sagal.

Sutter continues to deliver a fine show. The club has is hands full in this season. Gemma is on the run, framed for murder. The mayans are on the move, Jacob Hale continues his scemes and the search for abel continues. The trail leads to Northern Ireland where Jax finds more than he bargained for. More of John Tellers past is revealed and this will affect the clubs future, and the club is caught up in an internal fight between ira factions. Betrayal is waiting around every corner and the sinister father Ashby has his own agenda involving jax and Abel. You need to have seen the first two seasons to understand whats going on so get them as soon as possible. You won't be disappointed.

I just love this series and have just seen bikers in a new light . I have followed the series since it started on 5 USA and cannot wait until the next series comes out . I think that a new series 6 starts in the autumn but I am not really sure . Great cast , great stories and the music is brilliant as well . Charlie Hunnam as Jackson Teller is just simply amazing as is Katey Sagel who plays his mum Gemma . The bad sleekit devious part goes to Ron Perlman who plays Clay Morrow. You just have to watch this series to actually get to know and either love or hate the characters who so brilliantly bring this amazing show to life. Great viewing .
