TOP 500 REVIEWERon 20 November 2012
I was a bit shocked on hearing this album - I used to think that Graham was finished after the Organisation packed in but some of this record is surprisingly good. Graham's organ playing is still wonderful, and his vocals are also quite good, plus he's supported well by Harvey Mandel and Harvey Brooks amongst others. This was recorded in the States in the late 60s on the Pulsar label but never released in Britain(?). It's very much of its time i.e. a bit psychedelic (Graham's wearing a kaftan on the sleeve photo) but his jazz/blues organ is much as it always was - aside from a few nods to prog (which I feel is where he would have gravitated to if he'd lived.) `Walk On to Me' is one of Graham's slushy ballads embellished with mellotron but the rest of the tracks are pretty much all blues/jazz-based with rock trimmings but with raw funky Hammond organ at their heart. Definitely worth hearing for Bond fans.

Having escaped to the USA he recorded 2 LPs - with Harvey Mandel and other local players this magnificent LP was for decades not available and is one of his best.

Get the other version with extra tracks, it has a much better version of Water Water on it.
