I never thought I'd see the day when i would actually look forward to ridding my windows of the dreaded winter condensation, and never having to buy cheap kitchen roll in bulk ever again. Having lived in an old stone house for the last 10 years, winter was always a dreaded season. (No other house in the area seems to have the same problem.) I saw the Karcher vac being advertised and demonstrated on a shopping channel, and thought I'd found the answer to my problem. HOW RIGHT I WAS! I ordered it from a company on Amazon for the same great price and with cheaper P&P.
Delivery was fast and the vac was put to use the following day. To say i was impressed was an understatement. It's lightweight, fast and so effective that I would highly recommend it to anyone who has a heavy condensation problem. I also use it on the shower cubicle after every shower, instead of having to spray it down with shower shine spray. Personally, I have no hesitations in giving this Karcher vac 10/10.

A friend showed me one three days ago, and I was that impressed, I now have one!
For domestic use only - but an absolute treasure for anyone wanting to take the hard work out of window cleaning - and NO SMUDGES!! Just wash the window, tiles or mirror, and vacuum it all away, it's so easy to use & no mess.
I would recommend this product to anyone and everyone & the service from the supplier was second to none - WELL DONE!!

Cleaning windows is not my favourite chore, (I gave up climbing ladders a long time ago), neither is paying a months pension for a years hire of a professional window cleaner. So I invested in this "Karcher" gizmo.
My wife is an avid fan of e-cloths, we have one for every conceivable surface. Me! I leave smears on whatever I touch. Hence the purchase of what I can only describe as a very useful tool.
As long as one uses a moderately sudsy sponge to wash the window first,then wipe the vac over the glass, it needs a bit of practice to get the hang of it, no smears appear, finish off with a dry cloth around the frame,and "Bingo" I'm proud of my efforts,and I'm still in my boss's good books. Great!! As long as the vacuum is fully charged it should do a whole of a medium sized house outside or inside in one shift. Can't wait for the sun to come out and shine on my windows to see if I'm still in favour. I would certainly recommend this item.

I purchased one of these after watching them demonstrated on the shopping channels . I have to say they work very well and do everything that is claimed of them . However the big drawback is the battery life ,or I should say the lack of it . I have a small bungalow with a total of eight windows , by the time I got to the last window the battery was just about dead .Also the battery had been charged for more than the recomended time . If Karcher were to adapt this item so that it had a removable battery as used on electric drills , and a spare that could be used in rotation ,it would be a great tool .

At last I have clean , clear , smear free windows - right into the corners. Great WV50 thanks K,archer

We purchased this product after seeing the demos on a shopping channel and although it does a wonderful job l do feel that the rubber blade is a little soft, particularly at each end. I find it leaves water residue around the edge of the windows.

The product is nice and light. A little bemused that you cannot remove the water bottle completey in order to rinse it out, trying to put water through the little drainage hole to rinse out risks getting water into parts water is not supposed to go.

This was bought to replace an older and much more cumbersome model. It's great and really makes wiping down the windows in the morning very easy.

I bought this product to use for the speedy removal of condensation from some old secondary double glazed windows which suffer badly from this condition during winter months. It works well BUT if the condensation is particularly heavy water is ejected from the air exhaust slots.This not only makes a mess on the window sill but I was worried that the water might be passing through the motor causing damage.

By moving the vac at a slower speed across the glass and only covering half a blade width at a time matters were improved but the water ejection still occured, although to a lesser degree. I know it may be better to hold the vac in an
upright position but then you cannot bring it right to the bottom of the glass because the projecting window sill is in the way so you have to use it in a horizontal position.

My worse fears about damage to the unit were confimed when after only two months of use the battery was taking twelve plus hours to charge and he vac only ran for about two minutes before it went flat again. I can only assume that water had indeed entered the motor causing damage which in turn caused the motor to draw an excessive current from the battery which led to the short run time.

If Karcher state that the WV50 can be used for condensation removal then it should be up to the job. In fairness to them they have replaced my vac and this one works fine. A short charge time and a long run time. It has been extremely useful in coping with condensation during this months cold snap. It still spits for the vents during removal of very heavy condensation but I can live with that and (so far) has not proved detrimental to the vac.

But I didn't know it wasn't a good clean because the inside of my windows were all streaked anyway. Today .... my Karcher Window Cleaning Vacuum arrived. Easy to assemble, and fully charged up for the first time after a couple of hours. And off I went.

Easy to use!! This is an understatement. Incredibly easy to manoever around the window, and as I also purchased the smaller head attachment too, which is easy to change, I cleaned all my downstairs windows, picture glass, mirrors, tiles. All so easy to do, and as it says, no streaks. OK .... I did finish off at the bottom of the windows with a cloth, but that was no problem at all.

Now the insides of my windows are really clean and streak free, I noticed how poor the outside of the windows are - not clean at all. The unit is currently rechgarging, and I can't wait to go outside!! Also aim to try it on my card windows.

All-in-all a really good buy, and I am delighted with the results.

Even with the bad weather and postal backlog this item arrived within 2 days!
What a cracking piece of kit, so far I have cleaned my patio windows, vacuumed up the condensation caused by having to dry my washing over the radiators and cleaned the shower screen. I am really impressed and would recommend it to anyone who loathes trying to dry surplus water with clothes or kitchen roll.
