This review is from: Golf Is No Ordinary Game (Kindle Edition)
First there was P.G. Wodehouse's 'Golfing Omnibus' now there is G Guildford Barton, 'the Golfing Bard'. The short stories are very well written and timeless with some great characters. I was worried that it might be too deep, like parts of 'Golf in the Kingdom' but it is not at all like that. The variety of stories is great. There are funny, romantic, scary, or out of this world ones to enjoy. Anyone who loves the game, its frustrations, the friendships, the ocassional miracle shot or hole, the evening light on a rolling fairway, will love this book.
