5.0 out of 5 stars The real deal ...
I didn't know they made records like this anymore. I had the wonderful good fortune to see Charles Bradley live at a music festval in France this Summer, and was just blown away by his voice, his presence, and his band. 4.0 out of 5 stars An historic sound., 17 July 2013

It reminded me of my youth in the seventies. A mix of blues, soul and mowtown all together. This man will go far even if he is an odie.

5.0 out of 5 stars Impossible, 10 July 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
The impossible just happened - I found a recent LP that stands up to the music of the 60s and 70s. Now I want to know why I didn't hear about this until 2013.

4.0 out of 5 stars Otis Redding is back with Charles Bradley!, 9 Aug. 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Its an over simplified statement that Charles Bradley is an Otis Redding of his own right, but listening to the songs you will see some similarities and its a good CD to enjoy throughout all tracks! (which is a rarity these days)

Charles Bradley has a VOICE!! It's a voice that evokes years of pain, suffering and the human experience.
When I bought this cd, I couldn't listen to anything else. His is a great story and a great sound. Not to be missed.
