This is a sturdy, well made item. The seat is a double thickness chemical tanned leather. the seat frame is an alloy casting firly well finished although towards the handle the raw casting showes a bit. The main adjustable shaft is steel with a bright finish which in my marine environment already shows signs of rust.Easy to prevent if you oil it from time to time. The rest of the shaft is probably the same material but coated with a plastic finish which is fine.
The most useful part of this stick is the rubber ferrul which can be unsrewed to reveal a sturdy spike, a metal disk normaly scewed under the handle can then be scewed to the point for use with soft ground. Its nice to have both options.
The only con is the fact that the two handles do not meet but leave a 18 mm gap which is not very comfortable in the hand, IMHO.
For the price this is a good buy.

Took a bit of getting used too, my fault had it set too high. Now I think it's brill and use it often. It's strong and very well made. being unsteady on my feet, it gives me the rest when and where I need it.

It certainly walks the walk, as the double function rubber tip and inner spike serve both town and country. Its adjustable height is another bonus, meaning tired legs of any length can take advantage of the fold-out leather seat. A good buy.

I have a number of mobility disabilities, and have to regularly stop, and rest while out. However, unless I am using my mobility scooter, which I don't like using all the time, I don't often find anywhere to sit down. I used it for the first time today while out shopping, and it made the task so much easier for me.

I bought this as I suffer from arthritis and cannot walk far. It has enabled me to go to summer fairs and events as I can use it as a stick and a seat. Does the trick and does all I wanted. Good Buy.

This walking stick seat is a boon for senior citizens where there are no public benches. The stick is well made, robust, elegant and is a good buy. However it is necessary to take care that the height adjusting screw is positively located to avoid a spill.

The stick looks well made. I have only used it for a short period. The only poor point is the size of the seat which is a bit on the small side.
