Well was not in the market for a transmitter but thought at the price what could go wrong. Well recieved it the next day and was quite supprised as i asked for it the cheapest way. It was so easy to use, just plug in and re tune your radio. There is a bit of interferance from cab drivers and the odd radio station. But i have only had it for a day and still trying to find that freq i can use to be able to listen all the time.

Very easy system to change the freq. The phone sits in my docking station i got and i have had great sounds on my long drives. it takes less than 30 to connect and get running and with the power charger, keeps the ipod touched up and good to recharge the unit. I was worried as i drive 2hrs to and from work having this on all the time and it draining the phone power. But thanks to the little power charger it is great. The only drawer back is the lead for the charger is not very long probaly around (EST) 20 inches which fits just snuggly from my lighter socket to the windscreen. If it was about an inch shorter i would have a problem.

Works brilliantly as a transmitter but didn't charge my iPhone 4 so be careful as you'll probably get a different transmitter that does charge

Bought these to replace an almost identical item that went faulty. For £5 what a bargain! What I like about this version is that it will run off the iTouch battery rather than rely solely on the car adapter however this product does include a car adapter which will also charge the iTouch. The quality is good (similar to radio quality) and is very easy to use. The lead for the adapter is approx 50cm long(?) which is good enough for me, it may (stress may!) be an issue for those that would want to use the adapter but at the same time have the iTouch/iPod mounted on he windscreen for example.

The charger doesn't work when it is plugged into the transmitter. The transmitter's quality is poor unless you have it near the radio, and it also cuts your phone off completey after about 15 minutes and you need to disconnect it and start your phone again. The wire for the charger is too short. I bought this as part of a pack with a holder for the windscreen but you can't use the charger with it as it doesn't reach it. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

First off, when i opened this I thought, oh boy, thats why it was so cheap. It just felt very cheaply built. Then I started using it and confirmed my initial impression. This product does a great job of charging the phone in the car, thats about it. The transmitter function for music is awe full. It picks up every type of interference, power lines, anytime the phone attempts to retrieve emails, transferring in and out of 3G, someone else using their phone in the car, bumps, rear defog use, etc. Its just awful. The noise is so loud you have to turn it off. I've tried changing the frequency but that doesn't seem to fix the problem. Overall, you get what you paid for and I unfortunately am now back in the market for another transmitter. Mind you, my radio is out of a 2002 BMW so that may or may not be the problem but good luck if you decide to get it.
Like I said, great charger, thats it though.

I was never expecting this item to be fantastic at the price I was paying. I had previously owned a much more expensive FM Transmitter (which has disappeared - I suspect my sister...!) but I decided to take a chance and go for a cheaper option, as very often cheaper items work just as well. However, this was not the case this time. To be fair, it does work, but there is just too much distortion when driving, even when the sound is perfect before I set off, and after about 10 minutes it just gets too annoying and I end up turning the radio on. Obviously it is rather difficult (and dangerous) to fiddle with the transmitter when driving.

So, I would say that it is fine for the price you pay, but if I had paid anything more I would have been very disappointed.

Having heard about FM transmitters, I had heard more negative feedback rather than positive. However, as most of my music is on my Ipod, I soooo wanted one of these so that I could be able to play my choice of music in my car while driving, therefore, after reading alot of reviews for alot of the products on the market, I decided to buy this particular product and I haven't been disappointed. It works almost everywhere I have been so far with little or no interference. It is easy to connect. Only criticism I have of this product is that at times it spontaneously decides to take a break and cut out (not often but notable if you are driving and can't free your hands to re plug it). Overall, as the title says, Great little product and great value for money.

I ordered this and received it with prompt service.

I have an iPod Classic 6th Gen and this transmitter didn't work with it. I thought it might just be the iPod, so I tried it on my father's iPhone 2G but that didn't work either. The reviews seem to be generally positive and I had hopes, I only want it for my tiny car's speakers but to no avail! This has put me off ipod fm transmitters for now - I'll get an old cassette player fitted instead and get a cassette with a cable for mp3 players. They definitely work.

My final advice would be to go for something different, at least a different brand, if you have an iPod Classic or an older iPhone. And otherwise purchase this with care...

This would be a great product if it works!!! I bought this so we could listen to our ipod on the way to the south of france. Recieved the transmitter quickly...great!! Plugged it on and tune into car stereo - it works!!!...great!! One minute later it switches off as if has gone on stanby mode?? So press a buttton and it comes back on. One minute later the same thing happens and again and again. Don't know why this is happening and don't know how to rectify it. Not good when on a 2 day drive. Not worth the money. Might try a more expensive transmitter to see if their any better.

I received this transmitter in the post last night and tried it in the car this morning. I did have to be quite firm getting the adaptor into the lighter socket and then it worked a dream. My husband commented on how he had brought a £45 FM transmitter and it was awful and he couldn't believe I had only spent £6 on this one. The sound quality is as good as having a CD on or the radio and it also charged my ipod, my iphone and my husbands iphone 3GS. I could not fault this product and would highly recommend it!
