Cowgirls Don't Cry
on 13 October 2011
This is the story of Brandt and Jessie.
Without giving too much of the story away, readers of the series will know that Jessie was previously married to a McKay and is now a widow. Her Husband had not been faithfull to their marriage.
Jessie has not had a good life, she thinks that only other people could have the perfect life and marriage.
Brandt was the brother of Jessie's husband and had always felt something between them simmering. If only Jessie would give the relationship a chance.
This book is not as easy to get into as the others in the series, I did consider not finishing it. Until around a quarter of the way through, when the stage had been set and all background information comes together.
With so many factors and people working against them, Jessie and Brandt have to work hard to start the relationship and then try to make it succeed.
The book is a real emotional rollercoaster, if you like the Rough Rider series you will love this book.
The book also brings readers up to date with the other McKays.
Another winner from Lorelei!
