These speakers are very good considering their price, decent sound for most things and powerful enough for a small to medium sized rooms. The sound control thingy is not particularly great (a bit rough in terms of control, but still useful to have) and the power switch is located on the subwoofer, as are the "real" volume control and bass control, which work well. Cables are decent length, not too short but not too long either, will suit small tables and similar setups.

didnt really know wheather to pick these as i have never really heard of trust was gonna go for the speedlink vivo but saw these as i was about to buy them.and i am happy i went for these they are great speakers very well built and sound amazing for the price. crisp high notes and punch bass notes.and they look great to with a piano black gloss on the front of them. i agree with the last review the remote thing is a bit point fiddly but it does the job i guess. no matter what you use them for films, music ect they are awesome. a must buy if you are on a budget.

Was apprehensive about buying these as the brand is unknown to me but went on the spec of the product and of course the price. As soon as I used them on the laptop, you can instantly tell the quality of the sound, wouldn't be without them now. Don't look cheap and tacky either. Fabulous. Recommended.

I bought these speakers firstly to listen to my ipod touch, once connected the sound was excellent and plenty of horse power with it. The volume is sufficent for the home and unless you like some serious loud music this item is ample. It was also easy to connect to my TV and play station and the sound quality is very good. As a result of this purchase i'm in the process of buying another speaker set for my TV in the living room. one last point, when connecting this item to the tv you are able to adjust the volume by simply setting the required volume on the speakers and then using your remote controller for your Tv to control the volume.

Pros:+ Can get pretty loud, and work well down to quite a low volume + Very clear sound + Good treble and bass output from the top two speakers + Volume controller is helpful for easy access Cons: - Subwoofer is very large and quite quiet - Bass drum hits come through just about alright, but don't expect anything rumbly to come through at all well (I constantly have the bass control on full and it's still nowhere near enough) - Subwoofer range is limited - Low bassline notes won't come through at all well, though you may be able to hear them through the top two speakers - Top two speakers are slightly lacking in mids but it's not too noticeable - Input cable (from computer) goes via volume controller - a little awkward
